221 reviewsI did not get to stay at the B&B. I wanted to write a review about how they saved me from a disaster with AirB&B. My husband was going to a conference with his new business. I was tagging along to celebrate my birthday. We booked with a Charlestown Air B&B property and the owner, who was supposed to contact us the day before with the code, did not respond to messages or phone calls from the day before until an hour past check in. My Air B&B ambassador told me that Air B&B would cover our stay at 20 South Battery even though it was twice the price of where were to stay. When I booked, this was not true. Air B&B charged us the full price. I called 20 South Battery in a panic. I could not afford the full price. They were amazing. They cancelled the reservation when I explained, suggested other places we could stay and took amazing care of us. Super wonderful to people who were not event staying there. I am recommending 20 South Battery to everyone I know traveling to Charlestown. If they do this for folks who are not even staying there, I can only imagine how wonderful they are to their guests. Thank you so very much Abigal and everyone there. You fixed a disaster you did not cause without a second thought.
