We thoroughly enjoyed Kenwood! The weather was not so great when we were there, but the indoor pool & hot tub saved the day. Kenwood has tons of activities & the people are incredibly warm & inviting. It is close enough for an afternoon trip to South Padre beaches, Sea Turtle Inc & Gladys Porter zoo in Brownsville. Also don’t miss the chance to slip across the border (Mexico) for your dental work, glasses & tons of trinkets! 

This was our second stay at Kenwood RV Park and we enjoyed our stay both times!  Kudos to Cindy who did an awesome job and was so helpful!!  We appreciated everything she did for us!  

Pool, spa, restrooms, showers, and laundry all spotless!  Consistently!

Nice older RV resort. Needs to have some updates made to it to bring it up to par. They need to take some of the shorter rv spaces and make them into pull thru's. Would be nice if they put cement pads on every site also. If you like warm weather this is the place to come to.

Great RV park & location to see the area

Nice RV resort.

Older RV park that needs to be updated. Very close to the highway so the noise is terrible. And the company needs to hire a GOOD manager there to take care of the place and listen to the customers. Very nice people go there and they are taken advantage of by the park. There are many thing to do there and Mexico is only a half hour away.

No management.

This RV resort (not a resort) has changed hands.  Previously maintenance was not an issue.  The new owners seen determined to run this property into the ground. The indoor pool and spa, which are the draws for this park, have been left to fall apart.  Unfortunately we pre-paid for 3 months and cannot get a refund so are stuck here. The security, gated resort, is laughable.  The gates, when they work, are often open all day.  We have discussed these issues with staff many times with no resolutions. There are literally hundreds of RV parks in the Rio Grand Valley and this park had certainly fallen into the lowest of the low.
