It was quiet when you were able to walk to the store or restaurant

I Usually stay here every weekend when visiting family . My room is always clean customer service is top notch staff is always pleasant and the rates are affordable.

This motel is close to alot of things.  And very close to convenient stores.  And easy access to the interstate.  The owner is a man and very polite and is always there.  I would definitely recommend people to stay at this location on strawberry plains pike in knoxville, TN.

There were upgrades/renovations going on at the time of my stay. So large discarded items made the lot look a little messy. Their parking lot doesn’t seem large enough for the number of rooms they offer and the driveway coming in on the backroad could be lit up better as well as signage at eye level. Easy to miss at night. The renovations (new flooring, new beds) are nice and I’m sure once they are complete the place will come together nicely.

I don't get the low rating. There's nothing wrong with this motel. Yes, it's an older facility that got some fresh paint and new decor. I found it clean and what you'd expect for the price. The location is quiet, as it is removed from the main road. The easiest way to get to it is through the gas station on the frontage road. There is also an entrance on a side road. Staff were pleasant. No frills, as you'd expect from a Motel 6.

Price appropriate 

Not sure why this motel has only three reviews and they are all 1's.  Not a bad motel at all but dated.  Pretty good value in our opinion. 

We’re been in Knoxville a number of times recently to help a relative rehab an old house and for most of those times have stayed at the Quality Inn at the Strawberry Plains exit off I-40.  It’s clean and comfortable, and the price is reasonable.  Front desk workers are friendly and helpful.  

A placard in the bathroom states “let’s work together to conserve water and energy resources.”  It goes on to say that towels and sheets will be changed every three days unless requested sooner.  Most motels  tell you to hang up towels, and they won’t be changed; here, it flat out said they would not be changed.  Guess what???  They were!  We are happy to reuse towels and always dismayed to find that the stated policy has not been followed.  I wish someone from management or corporate headquarters would explain this to me!

Except for this (and to us, it’s a pretty big deal!), this motel always serves our needs, and we have no reservations about returning in the future.

Underrated. Older motel -  why only 3 reviews before now?

I Rooms could be cleaned a little better. And there is some mold around sinks and bathtubs.
