A rare find on our drive from the Outer Banks to Florida. We loved the preserved elements of the former bank including our guest room in the office of the former trust officer and the drinks/snacks in the vault. Stephanie as an incredible host and gave us a wonderful tour of the facility. We were able to park next to the building. They were hosting a wedding party so we were unable to see the other guest rooms. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Nice amenities in the room. A little pricey but not unexpected for a boutique hotel of this quality. We loved it! We also took a walk around the Mother Earth Motor Lodge in town. Super cool! Side note: on our recent drive through town we tried the Harp & Dill Bar & Grill for dinner. Delicious fish tacos and Santa Fe special burger with chili, jalapeños, bacon and onion rings!
