This place is amazing they accept dogs and the atmosphere is so chilled my puppy fell to sleep. The food is really nice and the staff are so kind I felt like I was at home. Certain drinks are expensive but I don't mind as they were so friendly towards my dog I couldn't fault them. I could have stayed there all night. I like the fact that I can go somewhere and my dog can come too !!!

Not at all. The desk staff was friendly and even kind. We were fleeing a hurricane and they made certain we were comfortably accommodated. The rooms were clean and fresh. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. We would be back. 

So kind were the staff that one offered to buy us dinner at a nearby restaurant since we were suffering from "Hurricane Rage".

We didn't have these problems!

Worst hotel I've ever been in. Checked out less than an hour after checking in. Rude front desk staff (Fellatia) refused to refund my payment for 2 nights made on Priceline. 

Pictures found on travel sites are not remotely accurate. 

Front lobby is filthy, only accessible with "buzzer" from front desk (card key won't even let you in!). Front desk has 2" BULLET PROOF GLASS with a slot to slide documents through - always an ominous sign!!! Bathrooms have blurry film, but no curtains. Can easily see through bathroom window from parking lot if on ground floor. Room was filthy; roaches wandering about, feasting on previous visitors' ramen. 

TL;DR: This hotel is probably good for illegal activities, but not much else. Should have been razed years ago. Shameful for travel companies to advertise it.

...it was the worst of times.

STAY FAR AWAY. My husband and 3 year old son stayed here. Upon checking innthey were given a room with the beds never made wet towels on them and on the floor. When he went into the bathroom there was feces in the toilet. They were given another room with broken lights and the tv was broken. Have asked several times for a refund and was told after 5 hours of arguing with them that they will not give a refund. I asked them several times would you stay in a room like this much less let your young child! DO NOT STAY HERE IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD

I didn't even stay the night here.  I checked in through expedia and after I immediately checked the reviews.... The room they gave me was specifically listed as having bed bugs.   I check the mattress and what do ya know.... Bud bug shells all in the creases.  
I had to call Expedia to get a refund.  I won't be using expedia any more either.  They gave me 2 options.  
1. To wait 45 minutes and they would find me a new hotel (no thank you, it's already 10 pm). 
2.  Expedia would email the manager (only the manager could refund my money) they would get back to me 24-48 hours.
So now I'm left waiting for a damn refund.
Really?? 
The lady at the hotel desk was extremely nice.  I'm sorry she is employed there! 
When I handed her the room keys back and said I couldn't stay in that room,  she didn't even ask why.  I'm pretty sure she knew.

This room is 100 years old and has never been updated. I checked out as soon as I saw the room. They still charged my credit card anyway. Booked thru Orbitz (who I will NEVER book thru again!) Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express.
