Wayne Motel

This is the type of motel that brings a 57 Chevy to mind. The owner is at the desk and very personable. This is the cleanest, most well kept motel I have been to in years. The outside of the building could use some sprucing up but it's obvious that he pays real attention to the inside. A clean comfortable spacious room trumps a crappy breakfast at a chain hotel. I saved more than enough to buy my own breakfast wherever I want. 

I all want in a place to stay.  Very Clean room.  New beds, New Tv, microwave and refrigerator.  WiFi is fast.  There is no frills here but you get a nice room  for what other places charge for a dump. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. Location was convenient to the war memorial coliseum. The shopping and food nearby is decent.
I will be back for another stay next year for the wrestling tournament.  

We just needed a clean bed, bath and peace and quiet. The Wayne Motel was all of these. No frills - not even a tissue. But then we paid less than $60 for the night.  There is a nice Sunoco station next door for snacks, drinks and coffee in the morning. I was satisfied. 

This place has been around longer than I have. No frills (no breakfast, pool, fitness room, conference room, etc.). But, it is clean. If you want family accommodations, this probably isn't the place for you. If you want a nice, clean room to lay your head down after a long day, here it is!

The area was good..close to gas and a Wendy’s.  Bed was comfy.  That is where is stops.  It took 20 minuets to register after the booking was already confirmed and I was the only customer at the desk.  Got to the room which huge but empty.  It seems like there should have been another bed but it was taken out and there as a huge empty space.  There we not two pillows on the bed.  I asked for two more and his poor wife got yelled at for it.  I asked for an ice bucket and I heard him rinsing one out in the back...gave it to me drying it with a paper towel and no bag to put inside of it to hold the ice.  The grounds were dirty...the garbage bin/ container was overflowing.  I do not recommend This place

Ok hotel but the owner was very unpleasant

This motel has potential however our room was so musty that it was unbearable. With a little more cleaning and basic maintenance this could be a great budget accommodation.  It is great to support family run motels, but with the room we had it would have been with spending more to get a decent night’s sleep.
