Beautiful Valley Guesthouse

A 1840 built house with awesome wood work and beautiful antique furniture!

Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.

The access to the upper floor the stairs were very narrow and steep.

Nice place. Host was attentive, and quickly repaired a minor issue once notified of it.

The room was spacious and very clean! Quaint and lovely! Rachel sent a reminder since I booked it 3-4 months earlier. It was a bed and breakfast also (nearby Artisan) included. Would highly recommend! It was half the price as the hotels during graduation and a bigger better room (King and one twin with attached bedroom).

I was in text communication with the owner.  Self check-in was smooth and easy.  The room, house, and area are beautiful.  I am glad to be here.

What an amazing place to stay, and what a lovely people to deal with!I can't praise Beautiful Valley Guesthouse high enough. It's a cute and quaint place to stay at, and it's surrounded by one of the most verdant scenery you'd see anywhere.It's not a modern hotel: it's rustic and thank heavens for that. But the WiFi works great, and that's all the modernity I needed.And don't - do not - forget to eat your free breakfast at the neighbouring Artisan Coffee House. The sandwiches are delicious, the coffee is heavenly, and the people are friendly. I wish I could come back soon.

This elderly property is fairly well maintained with a large bedroom and equally large bathroom. The stairway to the second floor is quite narrow so small suitcases work better than a single large one. The bedding and towels are good quality.  The free breakfast, in a coffeehouse a couple of blocks away is delicious.

Wow, what a great place!!

The property and location are great. It is a very old building like many in the quaint village of Scottsville. They require alot of work, and that is part of the charm. They have maintained the charm along with revitalization of the spaces. We loved being able to walk in the village and have breakfast in the cafe. We watched some fine trout being caught from the stream that runs thru the village.  Great experience!!!

The guesthouse is very nice and the rooms large and comfortable. It’s in a quiet neighborhood but close to where we needed to go. The unique aspect is that the breakfast is provided at their coffee shop just down the road. Water, tea, coffee as well as microwave and fridge are available on site. You can use the shared dining room and living soon. Hostess very friendly and accommodating to our late arrival.

Very nice, clean house in a quaint little village. The room was spacious with a private bathroom. The bathroom had a nice jacuzzi tub with a skylight above it. There was access to a dining/kitchen area with use of a small refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven. Breakfast was at a small, artisan coffee place just a short walk into the village. We had a very enjoyable, peaceful stay at this guesthouse.

Spacious, clean and quiet

The innkeepers allowed us to check in early, which worked out well after a 5 and half hour drive. There is a dining area and a living room.  In the dining area there is a fridge for guests to keep things cold with complimentary water.  There is also coffee and tea available along with china and utensils for take out food. The innkeepers are not onsite  but readily available if needed. Also the breakfast is served within walking distance of the guesthouse at the Artisan Coffeehouse. The gourmet breakfast sandwiches were tasty but my husband would have preferred a regular breakfast.

Lovely room, very clean, nice house, beautiful village. The coffee shop for breakfast was very nice. Good diner- although it didn't look like the usual diner- a short walk away. The neighborhood was quiet , beautiful and very safe. Nice to walk or jog. Points of interest nearby. Highly recommend this B&B.

Wonderful stay at Beautiful Valley.

What a gem of a home. We stayed for one night in the Rupeet room and wished we did not have to leave. We were the only ones staying at the property and so had the entire place to ourselves. It felt like home, from the comfortable parlor with baby grand piano to the lovely dining room!  This house is beautifully decorated, squeaky clean, very charming and full of history. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable queen bed, a large en suite bath with Jacuzzi and separate shower. We were greeted by owner Rahel and baby Adeline. Rachel was very welcoming and took time to visit with us and orient us to the house and the town. The included breakfast at the Artisan Coffee Shop the next morning was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast sandwiches and scones were wonderful. It was a short, pleasant walk from the B&B to the restaurant. Although breakfast was at this separate location the guest house itself had a full kitchen with coffee, tea and water available to guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Beautiful Valley Guesthouse.

Love this place!

Close to RIT (university), park right out front under the pines, inside the first floor has a welcome feeling with coffee and tea ready when you are. In the other room on the first floor you can sit and read, play the baby grand piano or do your home work on the high speed WiFi connection like I did.Up one flight of stairs is the bedrooms and ours was all set for us, the bath room is large with a tub and shower. Quite, quite and more quite is all about this place. A short walk in the AM for breakfast in this small downtown area, the place is an eclectic coffee shop with plenty of seats and locals coming and going.Stay here no fighting the crowds, parking or waiting on an elevator or for breakfast. What does it need... you to stay there.
