I love this park- years ago it was under different management when we first discovered it, and I then compared every other park to it. The new management has added and updated a few things , but otherwise the park has retained its "back to nature feel" in the middle of town.
The sites are well manicured, the roads throughout the park are in great condition, the restrooms and laundry facilities are clean and the pool is well filtered.
The park staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoy slipping away whenever I am able to. 
Previously we had a Class C, but now we have a travel trailer, but as a note we have  never encountered an issue in regards to electricity or water.

Had a family reunion here. Rented mostly cabins and one campsite. We loved it and had the best time. Karen & Joyce in the office were amazing! Karen was so pleasant and helpful! We appreciate their help in making our vacation a wonderful memory. 

Rock Crusher Canyon is a beautiful resort with a number of great guests and great staff members. Upon arrival you get nothing but a smile and respect. The staff is extremely welcoming. The sites are well kept and spacious. The bath houses are spotless, along with the laundry room. The pool area is large and beautiful. The plants make you feel at home, they especially look great at night time. Very relaxing! There is so much to offer here to a guest. With the pool and hot tub, basketball court, dog parks, campfire pit in the park, playground, exercise equipment, and even horse shoes and shuffleboard. This is a wonderful stay for anyone and their family members. The staff also does all of activities themselves so you are able to get to know the ones who take care of the guests & resort on a daily basis. I could not imagine staying anywhere else for a quick family getaway.

We decided to have a long weekend at Rock Crusher Canyon since it is close by our home. We went in our toy hauler/travel trailer. I really have no complaints about these campgrounds. 
Check-in was super simple, paperwork was left outside of the front office in a container, so it was contactless. 
We stayed on site 393, which was a pull through. It was right on a corner, so the road was on one side, and it had zero tree coverage. We went around the park, and it seemed that most spaces did at least have a little bit of tree coverage, so if we were given this site again in the future, I would definitely request to change. We also did not have a paved pad, which I would get in the future. It was a large site though. We had a picnic table as well, which was pretty rough. We seemed to be surrounded by full timers, who were very quiet. 
Pretty short walk down to the main area where there was a pool, playground, dog play area, shuffleboard, horseshoes, outdoor exercise equipment, and some walking trails. The pool had quite a few tables and chairs, and lounge chairs, in the sun and shade. The area was nice. Bathrooms were right by the pool and were also very well taken care of.
We watched a movie by the pool on Friday night. I wish that they did it on other nights also. There were games that went on for two hours during the day on Saturday, but we had just gotten into the pool and my kids did not feel like going to check that out. I know they have other activities that are going to be going on over the summer, like tie-dye, pool parties, etc.
It is in a great location, it’s just a short drive to many restaurants. We ate Mexican, Spanish, Chinese, and Publix deli. There is also a park close by that has a skate park as well. There is no on-site food or drinks. 
I read reviews of people complaining about the Wi-Fi. We only used it for messing around on the phones, and it was perfect, except for about half a day one day it did not work for some reason.
Overall, no major complaints, and we will definitely camp here again in the future!!

After looking at several other locations for our stay in Crystal River this past week we selected Rock Crusher and I am so glad we did! While in town we drove through several other RV parks and this one was by far the best.

My husband and I were traveling with our daughter and our dog and went kayaking, snorkeling and walked around Heritage Village. Restaurants were close by and we took advantage of carry out.

The location of the park is great, we felt like we were 15 minutes from everything! 

Check-in is contactless which we welcomed due to COVID. There was a non-emergency number provided in case you needed something after hours. 

Our spot was at the center of the park, did have pavers and the hookups were at the back. The sewer hook-up was a little further up which was not a big deal for us but with a larger camper it would have been underneath the camper. There was a picnic table that was a little rough but we use a cover anyway so no biggie. There was also a very nice fire pit. Our neighbors appeared to be there full time and were very nice! 

The area we were in was very quiet. I walked everyday and there is a lot of road noise at the outskirts of the park.

I saw several other reviews where people were not happy with the WiFi. In the confirmation email we received they did explain the WiFi is not suitable for streaming. If you don't have a long coaxial able to hook up to the site cable get one! We needed a 25 foot cable based on where we set up.

The pool area and other facilities are very nice and clean. Lots of seating and all in excellent condition. They had a sign in the pool area restricting occupancy and generally it was followed but no one seemed to be enforcing it. That said, it is a large pool area and there was plenty of space, it never felt crowded. Most days there were under 10 people when we were there.

They had different activities everyday, on Thursday they had doughnuts and the young lady from the office had a mask on and was very friendly! Most days we were not on site for the activities but the Facebook photos looked like it was a good time especially the tie dying!

There are several empty retention ponds and people were playing with their dogs there but outside of that all dogs were on leashes. We brought our dog and appreciated the responsible owners we saw!

Overall we had  a very positive experience and would stay here again!

We have a 39' class A and was in 129A. Site was big. Roads getting to the site were big and easy going. We stayed a week and I have no complaints. Check in was done outside the office. They had a table set up w/our envelope of info and a little free gift. That was a nice touch! Cute little zipper bag w/mask and hand sanitizers in it. Thoughtful! Shower house was nice and clean, as was the laundry room. Lots of people live here and many fulltime campers. Park was nice and clean.

Just got back from a fantastic Labor Day weekend at Rock Crusher Canyon.  Very nice friendly staff.  The atmosphere was so relaxed and the environment really enjoyable.  Plenty of room on the sites and in the park for us to enjoy.  Our 3 campers/families that came from the east coast felt it was worth the drive and look forward to coming back.  Thank you Rock Crusher Canyon for a fun mini-vacation!

My family and I stayed at rock crusher and had a fantastic time!! Wonderful pool, beautiful woodsie sites,and fantastic staff always there when I needed them  can't wait to go back. Thank you everyone  Christy for your hospitality.

I recommend this swimming the the manatees vacation to anyone looking for inexpensive and memorable adventures for the kiddos.  We stayed at Rock Crusher RV park for 4 days, and we couldn’t be happier!  We rented a cabin, which has all the amenities all ready!  The staff was great, and our stay was pleasant.  5 star mini vacation!

We have just returned from our second Christmas vacation at Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park.  The resort is fantastic! The location is close to several beaches and many attractions. The park is clean and  well maintained with lots for a family to enjoy,  including a screened-in heated pool and a nice playground.  The staff is friendly and accommodating.  Resort management is extremely helpful and ever present, clearly devoted to making sure guests have a wonderful experience.  We couldn't be happier! Highly recommend Rock Crusher to anyone for an RV spot or a cozy rental cottage!

We stayed at Rock Crusher in February of 2020. We love everything about this campground.  We tried to make a reservation for Jan- March 2021 unsuccessfully.  We learned the spot we were  on in 2020 now has a cottage on it.  After months of conversation and having my brother who lives in crystal river go personally to the campground we were given 9 days this January.  We learned they are catering to seasonal workers and people willing to pay for their spot year round even if they only use it jan-March.  This will make it difficult for weekend and short term campers.
The office personnel are always super nice and friendly just difficult to get a reservation.  We might have one for January 2023 but have not gotten a confirmation.   It is just an unfortunate policy for those of us snowbirds who do not want to pay for a year round spot.

This was a very impressive RV park compared to some others we have stayed at before. The community is gated and filled with mostly full-timers, so it is very quiet. I never noticed any children here either. The greenery and landscaping were nice and allowed for some privacy. There was also space between the campsites so trailers did not feel crammed into here. Although we did not have time to use them, we noted that there were some nice-looking amenities, such as a pool and a playground.

I did not give this park a 5-star rating for two reasons. First, sometimes the wifi did not work at all and overall the quality was poor, the latter of which we were made aware of. Secondly, the bath facilities were not the cleanest and could use some renovations. However, neither of these were dealbreakers and I would still recommend this RV park.

Spring Break 2021

I'd recommend this park

Stayed 3 nights here recently.  Employees at the desk were friendly and provided details on our site.  Pulling a 28ft travel trailer and had a back-in site that would accommodate our needs. The electrical hook up for our site was for 50amp and our trailer is 30 amp.  The office staff let us borrow an adapter to help get us set up for our stay. The southern hospitality was much appreciated.  They provided information on where to purchase one if desired.  The local Home Depot has adapters to accommodate RVer's needs. Cable and WiFi worked great.  Sewer connection was not as secure as it could have been due to to the construction not allowing the treads to engage.  As a camper, you have to learn to adapt. My wife and I view our camper as just a place to sleep, as we travel to enjoy the other parts of the country.  While in the area, you must kayak or swim with the Manatees.  The park is located within easy access to most area attractions and restaurants.  Next time we are in the area, we are going to check this place out again.  I see several negative comments about full time residents.  It's a sign of the times and does not bother me.  We're not there for the park, it's just a safe place to sleep.

Nice Campground!

Our site was way in the back area of the campground which meant little or no road noise.  That's always appreciated.  There was great variety in sizes of sites.  There were numerous long term residents with overdone "yards" and too many lights.  At reception we interacted with a very unfriendly woman.  Next, we had a very leaky water line.  There are some many rules here (a Sun RV Resorts facility)  but it was a clean campground and we had a nice stay.
