Perfect location for everything you need.

Great quiet spot. Fall leaves were beautiful!! Fun small casino across the street!

One night stay. Very nice place with a great location. Would highly recommend.

Overall the room was clean. Staff friendly.  Breakfast was average to good.  Could tell the staff care about the business.  The hot tub was out of commission our second night.. that was the number one reason we picked that hotel.  So that was a bit to be desired.  Also the beds REALLY need to be updated.

I would stay again.

Cool rustic-themed hotel with an in-house convenience store. Not exactly remote, since it's on a highway, but it's some distance away from nearby Munising. It felt relaxing. A campground and a small casino are nearby. The only negative was the lack of a coffee maker in the room but there is free coffee in the store if you're staying there. This is a good option if you want to be away from the more touristy scene to the east.

Log cabin look awesome, casino next to the lodge and steak house restaurant right across the street and gas station attached to Lodge with convenience store, rooms very clean spacious large hot tub staff very helpful and friendly, Nice breakfast with lots to choose from would definietly stay here againSteve & Vicki Weber

Great stay! We had several rooms with 8 guests staying for 3 days. All rooms & room types were quite spacious, very clean & comfortable! Plenty of comfortable space for our party's bride to get ready for her big day! Staff was EXTREMELY friendly, welcoming & went way above & beyond to accommodate our needs! This place was GREAT! Was our 1st stay in AuTrain/Christmas area & it did not disappoint! Our entire family has agreed that this area (and this motel, if available) will be our new, twice yearly get-together spot! Quieter & less people/traffic in busy seasons, than Munising or Marquette which we will still visit as they're both beautiful! Attached convenience store & gas station provided all we needed! Great steak house with great service right across the road, too! Thank you, to the staff at White Pine Lodge, for a wonderful stay!

Great place; was a little further out of town than we expected but overall a 3 mile drive not bad. Like the gas station and the convenience store attached. Employees were helpful with suggestions for food after we found out you can’t get delivery. The restaurant across the street foggy’s was great! We stayed 2 nights and the staff was great both nights. We didn’t have breakfast because there were a couple of places we wanted to check out but it looked nice.

Nice place to stay

We stayed here after dropping our son off at NMU (about 45 minutes away) and wanted some time to explore Pictured Rocks. This was the perfect place to do this. The woman who checked us in was friendly, the room was large and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful, and the location was convenient. We will stay here again.

Perfect place to explore the area

Need to add fresh fruit to breakfast. Rooms on odd numbers side could hear the traffic from the road all night long. Other than that will come back as long as Im on the even number side. They took very good care. Everyone of the personnel was very attentive very polite and very happy to assist.  Nice Place Great prices. Can walk across road to eat and or walk to casino and can also eat there.  Convenience store open 24 hours right at the hotel.  Go White Pine Lodge!!!

We found the the lodge to be perfectly serviceable for our needs.  It has older rooms that were in a good state of upkeep. The breakfast is advertised as "continental" but it is a bit more with a waffle makers, although one of the two waffle makers was broken.  It is located next to a small casino which is a plus or minus depending on your perspective.

We enjoyed our stay a lot! No problems whatsoever! We loved that there was a 24/7 store attached to the lobby and they had ice cream. The only thing we didn’t like was the AC unit temperature didn’t seem to work well and we had to turn it way down to 64 to keep it at 68 in the room. That was small though and we would come back for sure. Great location just outside the main town and close to everything. Foggy’s across the street was a fantastic restaurant!
