Hampton Inn Miami-Airport West

In town for the week while my brother teaches another class. This is by far, my brother's favorite hotel to stay at in the area. From the cleanliness of the property inside and outside to the professionalism of the front desk and housekeeping. Kudos to the entire staff and it's hard to single out anyone since everyone that I encountered was pleasant and friendly. I do have to mention Alejandro's professionalism when we had a dead battery on Monday and Alejandro went out of his way to assist. Grant it, the front desk was not busy at that time. Alejandro grabbed a portable battery charger to help in jump starting the battery. When that didn't work, he even flagged down another guest who was on his way out and the guest was more than happy to help. Thank you Alejandro! (There is a small chance that this young man's name is Victor.) This Hampton Inn is comparatively priced amongst the hotels in the area. The beds were comfortable and the sound proofing from airplanes is pretty good. Breakfast starts at 6am, is complimentary and also pretty good. Coffee is hot and delicious! Yes, there was a great deal of activity as this property as it is going thru several updates to the rooms, etc. I was (in a way) a little surprised that Hilton is willing to spend some $$ to the hotel. It is an older property. Then I ran into Deanna (from Corporate ?) and she was awesome. We had a great chat and of the comments she made was this Hilton property has to keep up with the surrounding hotels. This is fantastic! In sum, our stay was a five star experience!! Always look forward to staying here. *yes, I did check the vents in the room and the hotel's stairwell. Spotless and the stairwell was the cleanest of any hotel I have stayed at.
