We just returned from a family reunion and love this place! Hermann is known for it's history and friendly locals, our stay was wonderful! Some younger folks may not understand an older TV or no cell phone charging stations but these rooms are charming, comfortable and we applaud the long time owner for not changing the historic value. We walked everywhere as it is centered in town near the bridge. Thank you for hosting us! See you next year! Also, the pillows are amazing!

We’ve stayed here on every trip when we go to Hermann. Frank and his staff are exceptional and so is their weekend breakfast buffet! Good location to get around town and has the “old world” charm to it. Usually get one of the king size rooms and we LOVE it here! Be sure to book early since they fill up fast, especially during Octoberfest!

I try to stay here whenever I am in town it is always a good experience. I wasn’t going to get in town until after they closed. I talked to Debbie, and she got my favorite room for me (15) and when I asked about breakfast, she said they were not serving breakfast during the week. When I lamented that I loved the apple butter and toast for breakfast she kindly apologized and finished making the reservation. Imagine my surprise when I got to the room there was a tray with two pieces of bread, a muffin, and a generous serving of apple butter. That is amazing attention to detail. I saw where a couple of people complained about the TV’s. I have never needed one. Hermann is a great town to walk around in. If it cold, go outside and roast marshmallows on the fire.  These are nice, comfortable, and very clean rooms. Yes, they are a little lean on outlets, but it is not a difficult work around. I will always call first when I am in town. Thank you Debbie, you are amazing!!

this is the second stay at the Harbour haus with Frank.  Love the location, right at the end of the bridge, just up the street from good resturaunts. Rooms clean, fresh, TV works, WIFI, GREAT breakfast, good prices and entertainment- via Frank.  Love Hermann, people are so friendly and proud to live there.  it is a nice place, and easy to catch the train.

After a bad experience elsewhere in Hermann my friends (a Bride and her bridesmaids) and I needed a place to stay quickly. Harbor Haus was more than accommodating. They made us feel right at home and eased the Bride's worries. Harbor Haus is  right next to the Trolley stop and only a walk away from tons of places to eat, shop, and drink. Breakfast in the morning was a huge plus as well!

Love this place. Great location. Very affordable. We decided on a 1 night get away to Hermann, MO. The owner, Frank, is delightful! So is the entire staff. Warm and welcoming to guests. Breakfast was awesome... one of the best I’ve had. Enjoyed just sitting on the patio at night by the fire.

This is the third time that I have stayed at this property.  the staff is very friendly, the place is spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was darn good.
I will try it again.
The location is near everything in town including the rail station.

I came to Hermann for a girls weekend and we stayed at the Harbor Haus Inn. The room was neat and tidy. The first night, we called and were able to get extra blankets, even though the office was closed. That was above and beyond service and I cannot express how much we appreciated it! The owners were extremely engaging and friendly. The room was budget friendly, but had a large mini fridge in it, which was amazing to have!

I'm in Hermann on a regular basis and have been coming for years.  I have been coming to Hermann for both business and pleasure.  This last time was on pleasure.  A friend and I were on a dual sport motorcycle trip around Missouri.  This was a planned stop.  

I believe this is the best deal in town.  The rooms are not fancy but your not coming to Hermann to sit in your room.  The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is fantastic.  You can walk everywhere if staying here.  

At night they have a nice firepit to sit and talk.  I very nice feature.  

Breakfast is set up in a unique fashion (you'll see when you get there) and is very tasty.

Because I travel for a living there are many things I take for granted where I stay. This place has all the comfort and all the amenities They give you the full assurance that life is good. After a long and arduous day and a brutal evening. I came back with thunder and lightning in a light rain and found a fire and marshmallows waiting to be roasted. After a few roasted marshmallows, the cares that infested the day and folded their tents like the Arabs and silently slipped away. I really like this place. A good room a great breakfast and a wonderful people, you can't go wrong

I stayed here a single night for a business move. Staff and owner were very friendly, accomodations were a bit more than I expected given the pricing (good thing, of course.) After reading some of the other reviews on here about this place, I think people are setting their expectations far too high for what they're paying.

Breakfast was good and simple.

I'll be back if I'm ever in the area.
