Just had one night to stay - wish we had more!  We were a group of two couples and one single and it was a great setup for us. We had the whole house to ourselves and it gave us a great opportunity to visit. We loved all of the decor and whimsical touches. It had a nice modern kitchen that we did not use except to make coffee in. It was a short ride to shopping and restaurants and very convenient. The house was immaculate. Would recommend to anyone.  

Let's start outside: nice patio area to enjoy a bottle of wine with friends; lights outside a nice addition to the ambiance;
Inside: Nicely decorated; comfortable beds; plenty of room for 3 couples;
Location: walking distance to downtown restaurants; shops; and a couple wineries;
Paula is an excellent "innkeeper"!


Paula and Bill's place is the perfect home base for your stay in town. It's tastefully decorated, spacious and spotless. It looks and feels like your idealized version of a B&B and we couldn't recommend it enough. 

My family felt at ease as soon as we walked in and we were sad to leave - the house really made our stay in Hermann that much better. It's within walking distance to all the food and sights in town, but if you do need to get around via automobile, there's plenty of dedicated parking in the back of the house. 

The guest house has all the charm of being an older home yet every detail is current; appliances are all like new, the floors are immaculate, wifi is great and the decor is current - nothing in the space feels dated, everything down to the shower/tub rods has gotten proper attention (industrial chic). It's all quite camera-ready for your social media - you come away with ideas for your own home! The bedding is super comfortable, as well (we stayed in the Gustav Suite downstairs). 

Interacting with Paula was a breeze, as well, and she couldn't have been warmer. She was so great about going the extra mile to accommodate our 11-month old -- our room and the common areas were all baby-proofed so well (better than our own home, in fact). The B&B has baby gates as well as a pack-n-play - so we were able to travel even lighter from NY - which was really a luxury! 

We're really thankful we stayed at the guest house and will most certainly be returning!

I booked this for a trip with some co-workers. We came during October to visit the wineries, but on a Monday as to avoid the Oktoberfest crowd & Paula was kind enough to let us stay for one night. (typically in October most places have a 2 night minimum.) I had a group of 6 of us, 2 ladies and 4 gentleman, and we had an absolute blast! The house was large enough that the couples had privacy, but we had plenty of space to hangout.  We played games, enjoyed the spacious patio, and were able to walk downtown for dinner from this location. She even had 6 bikes that we could sign waivers for and use, which some of us did. Each bedroom was very clean,  comfortable, well decorated, and spacious! The beds were very comfortable as well! My entire group LOVED the house! The upstairs bedroom has an amazing and unique shower that added to the allure. We would definitely recommend this! Paula was really willing to work with me and my group throughout the entire experience, from booking all the way to check out when many other places wouldn't due to the fact that we were a group of people in the age range from 23-32 and wanted a one night stay during the week.  We really appreciate Paula and her beautiful Bed & Breakfast!

There was bikes to ride,board games to play and plenty of room. I just loved this place!!!! I did not know what to expect for this was my first time in a Bed and Breakfast set up and I was extremely over joyed with my visit.
