This is a regular, no frills stay for me.  Worth the money.  Easy in and out  Great downtown location.

Although the place is dated, it was very clean and comfortable, and the best part was it was a great value.

Just there for one night.  Room was clean and comfortable. I had reserved two rooms but when I checked in she only had a record for one and no other empty spaces. I was in the parking lot kind of grumpy and looked for another place on my phone and she burst out of the office to say she found a  listing from the same area code and realized it was my phone number but with another persons name.  I forgot that I had reserved the second room under my friends name so there were actually two rooms reserved.  The mix up was totally my fault but she was a great detective and figured it out  and saved us from finding a different hotel.  Kudos to that young lady.  Very pleased!

Everything was clean and functional, and the staff came to the front desk after hours to check us in. We visited several nearby shops and had a great breakfast across the street.

Super comfy bed, nice and quiet location. Neighborhood was clean and felt safe. Well lit parking lot. Definitely would stay again!

It’s nothing fancy but it was very clean and the staff was very nice.

The motel was clean and very comfortable. The front desk clerk was extremly helpful and very accommodating. I would stay there again just to see how some of the repairs & upgrades go. Wonderful older place to stay, convient to everything.

I honestly was expecting a half clean room or worse based on the immediate look, but was pleasantly surprised by how clean my room was! No dust, no ring around the toilet and fresh bedding. They can definitely use a remodel, but everything else was great. Awesome staff as well! Would absolutely stay again!

Very cool old motel. Bit of a rough neighborhood with many in transition and homelessness around the area.  But the lighting and property was well-maintained we felt safe staying here.Toilet flapper was broken, and the water ran all night, I bent down and turned the water off at the wall to help with waste, but this will need to get fixed right away, which I told staff.  Their lobby is filled with political ideologies and views that do not lineup with mine, or I feel are good for kids which I need to share , but all staff were very helpful.

We booked this property at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised at how convenient it was, inexpensive for a quick overnight, and clean. Definitely a "motel" feel, but we have no complaints.  The staff was very friendly and helpful - even called to let us know how to get checked in if the office was closed when we arrived. We would stay again if we needed a place to sleep while traveling.

I loved the frint desk attendant Jo. Our vehicle broke down while on a road trip and she was so welcoming. We only stayed one night but as she saw me tge next morning she asked if our vehicle was now ok and offered us some coffee before we left. She was great to talk tp. The reception area is quaint and smells so great with whatever scents they use.

The Hotel is very well maintained. My room is very clean and comfortable. The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in and the shower is hot with great pressure. The housekeepers do an awesome job, and the front desk staff is kind and helpful. I was in need of a place to stay for an extended period of time and they were there for me. They have the best rates in Helena and surrounding areas that I could find.

The place is older but was clean. Some of the issues in room (rip in curtain, mildew around tub, pealing paint) are more of a need for renovation and not a reflection of cleanliness.  It does look older but the lobby is lovely with local crafts for sale and they offer coffee etc. good value for the lower price but be aware that there are a number of homeless on the street and a medical place for homeless across the road from entrance. They do have nice shops and eateries just north of the hotel so go figure, it's similar to many cities downtown areas.

Check-in was pleasant. The office certainly was decorated quite artistically and smelled nice. Check in person was professional but reserved. Decent room for the price. Right down the block from some interesting trendy restaurants and coffee houses. As mentioned in other reviews there are people living in the streets close by congregating. But they were not aggressive and kept to themselves.

They were power washing the building and sidewalks and some of the parking lot in preparation for painting the exterior. We were given a ground floor room and told the upstairs was being washed but that was not the case. They were loud sprayers and the ground and doorways wet when exiting to our car to unload our luggage.

The lady who owns/runs the business is friendly and helpful to a tired, old, slow traveler.  There was a small homeless encampment within about a block.  Nothing wrong with the room.  Inexpensive.  In old downtown, close to high-end shopping and dining.  Free parking close to room.  I would stay there again, if I ever get back to Helena.
