We are from the midwest and dreamt of a Maui wedding and honeymoon wrapped into one, just before Covid-19 hit. Our friends had a unit here and said how delightful it was. We took a chance and booked it with them privately. No regrets. From the property maintenance and management staff to the clean pool and grounds, we were taken away by the views and clean ocean air. The waves are fairly constant rushing into the bay. We tried it all on the island that we could afford. Prices are high, but local food trucks, Costco and a discount local rental car company made it worthwhile. The views from the deck and evening sunset are stunning and will forever be etched into our memories. BBQ grill on site to use, and all the utensils and towels and beach gear is in the condo where we stayed. 2 couples can easily split the rental fee for a week. Whales weren't there yet, but get here by Jan 1 and you will see them for months in the bay.
