I liked that it had coffee available anytime.

Close to the lake.  Bed was comfortable.  Room was quiet.

I would like to thank the management for allowing an earlier check-in and a later check-out for us. The room was as described. The pool was clean and nice.

It was a great stay very, very comfortable

The bed was comfortable the shower was hot very decent for a no frills hotel

Good location. Clean rooms. Very friendly staff. We have stayed here a few times now. We will definitely be back returning guest. 

Plenty of outdoor outlets and parking for boat trailer hookup

The hotel was clean, beds were comfy and it was convenient (right off the main road). Close to Lake with several eateries within driving distance. The only thing we did not care for was the breakfast. It was coffee, cereal, yogurt and packaged sausage on mini buns with packaged muffins. It was okay for quick bite, but we're used to waffles, scrambled eggs, etc. We would go back though.

This was a pleasant surprise. The hotel looks a little old on the exterior, but the maintenance is kept up, and the rooms are clean. When the room is advertised non-smoking, it actually is smoke free!  Beds are average in comfort.  The pool was clean and refreshing. Close to boat rentals dining and shopping

The sink was not clean and it had hair in it and it looked like it had coffee dumped down it and wasn't rinsed.  The toilet paper was not proper.  It looked like someone had used it and they didn't make it look like they fixed it.  The TV turned on in the middle of the night and the heater wasn't working correctly.

The room wasn't clean.

The two young men who checked us in were friendly and helpful. I understand it's out of their hands, and this doesn't reflect on them, but when my husband and I were getting ready for bed we began to smell marijuana quite strong. We quickly began to realize it was coming from the upstairs. It was drifting thru the bathroom exhaust vent. We remedied it mostly by shutting the door to the bathroom. Unfortunately if we had to go the bathroom in the night it was most unpleasant. The bathroom reeked of that marijuana-skunk smell. Upon waking it had cleared, thankfully.

This Days Inn is set up Motel style, where all the rooms are accessible from outdoors and you can drive and park near your room door.The first thing I noted is that the hotel is very clean and seems to be well maintained.  The bed felt very soft and I liked it but after a night of sleep, my back did not like it.  The bed was nice though.  The pillows were decent.  We were not staying more than one night but it was nice to know we had a microwave and fridge just in case we needed it.The shower worked well and functioned as it should.  They say breakfast is included but it was not much of an offering.  there were Owens microwavable sausage biscuits, yogurt, and instant oatmeal.  We chose to eat at a local breakfast joint.My only negative is how noisy it was.  We either had very noisy neighbors in three directions or the walls carried sound a lot or a combination of both.  We could hear neighbors arguing, partying, making whoopie, taking a shower, and opening and closing the doors dozens of times.  It made it hard to fall asleep as these people seemed to be very active at our bedtime.

Overall, I was pleased with my visit. I only had 3 complaints. The sink stopper had to be removed for the sink to drain; the bathtub had no stopper, so I could only shower, not take a tub bath; the heater was so loud that it woke me up several times when it came on during the night. Other than those 3 things, the room was nice and clean.

I’ve been striking out with most Wyndham properties lately. I got upset when I found my contract employer was putting me up at the Days Inn instead of the Best western. I was proven wrong.

Given the fact Days Inn properties have been deteriorating lately - this one was special. It had updated rooms throughout - with a much more modern and newer vibe to it. Updates throughout as it felt clean. 

Breakfast was well beyond most Days Inn properties. Hot eggs and more. Not used to that in the others out there. Breakfast area was tidy and ran until 9 each morning. 

Only thing that didn’t fit was the exterior landscaping. Maybe it was because it was winter - but it was lacking. Plants were planted in sour cream cups and some litter in the lot - but I can deal with that if the room is nice, and it was. 

I travel the country extensively with my work and make it a point to contribute and review EVERY hotel I stay at. I use TripAdvisor for my personal reference, and do what I can to give back to the community. You can trust my reviews are accurate and honest to the best of my abilities. 

Best Days Inn I’ve seen in a while...

Coming down US 59 from Kansas proved to be very handy.  This way I could enjoy the beauty of these lakes all around Grove, get checked in and have plenty of time for exploring this charming community.  

The Days Inn seemed to be relatively new, and the room assigned to me was close to the pool and to the breakfast area.  Being on the ground level assisted my aging physicality for luggage etc.  No swimmers, but the walk to the lobby/breakfast tables was very quick.  And the breakfast had everything that was found in hotels of much higher price.  

During the night a thunderous storm descended on this area, lending excitement to the stay, but by breakfast the parking lot was dry.

This hotel reflects positively upon the community of Grove and to the label "Days Inn."

Suburban but Convenient

The room was really humid and we had the air conditioning on 68 to make it tolerable.   We left at 9 am and returned at 2 pm and nothing had been done to our room. We reported that to the desk and the folks who cleaned the room arrived about an hour later. When they arrived they tried to talk to me but I could not understand anything they said. I taught foreign languages and usually don't have difficulty with people from other countries speaking English.  I could not understand them at all.

Excellent stay. Fabulous front desk attendants and room was great. Had a smoking room and it didn't smell bad at all when I got there. They were very kind to set up the booked rooms apart from each other. Every other room was occupied so I couldn't hear any neighbors.Nice floors and furniture. Everything that I needed since I travel a lot. Will definitely be staying here more. Have booked it through July.
