Staff was very accommodating and room was clean.

Its very clean and quiet room are very nice!

Stayed in room 314 and 315. Rooms are clean, spacious and had a kitchenette (no pots or pans). Hotel is quiet. The parking lot was well lit. The staff were very nice and helpful! 12 minutes from PDX.

Staff was super friendly. Excellent property manager. Will comeback when in Portland.

It was clean, relatively comfortable, warm, and dry. The recliner is more comfortable than most hotel room furniture.

The hotel was nice, clean,comfortable, and in a safe area. The staff was really helpful and very nice. Ms Annie H. was absolutely wonderful!  She recommended all the places to visit in the area. It was a great trip. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was spotless. Very spacious, comfortable bed, full size frig, big computer style desk, plenty of bright ceiling lighting, nice kitchenette, helpful staff and great manager. Wish there was more food options/maybe hot breakfast offered. But I will stay here again.

Our stay at My Place was under not ideal circumstances as we were dealing with the affairs of the death of a family member. However, the staff, esp. at the front desk were very kind and helpful during our entire stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. Our room was very clean, as was the lobby area.The only negative aspect of our stay was that it was noisy. The first couple of nights I didn't notice, maybe because of weather conditions, but the last two night we could here the traffic on the interstate, esp. semi trucks using engine brakes to exit the freeway. Maybe this isn't an issue on the opposite side of the building? Also, we had noisy neighbors on two nights, one with a loud stereo, the other yelling at noisy kids. This isn't the hotel's fault and they took care of the stereo issue. Keep in mind this is an extended stay hotel and pets are allowed. But for the price and convenience it was worth it.

I really enjoy staying here.  One thing I wish would change, prob the only thing I wish would change, is that the room doors had a soft close.  All the doors slam behind when you go in or out of your hotel room so you can hear slamming doors all night.  Other than that, this place is great!!  Would stay there many more times

First, there is a $100 refundable deposit. I looked everywhere prior to our stay and couldn’t find an amount but I was prepared to pay one. The front desk staff was super kind and courteous. The room was clean, quiet, large, and comfortable. There was a comfy recliner, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and there was a list of channels for the tv. A few people have mentioned black hairs. I also found three black hairs. One on the shower wall, one on the toilet lid, and one on the comforter on the bed. However, my theory is the cleaning staff has dark hair. Maybe wearing a hair net would prevent guests finding random hairs. The room was clean. I wasn’t stressed about a couple random hairs. But some people are. The kitchen was nice and would be super handy if I was staying more than one night. I will totally stay there again if I ever need to on one of my Portland visits. The price was great for the room. I have paid so much more for far less. There is a little convenience store in the lobby for those things you forget. Parking is convenient and free. I could barely hear any freeway traffic, but the hotel is convenient to the highway. All in all, I was pleased with my stay.

I keep coming back when I go to Portland.  It’s close to freeway but no noise, not a lot of food options other than McDonald-like but ask the staff and they might send you for Mexican (awesome and authentic about 1/2 mile away).  The rooms are CLEAN and have recliners.  No pool but free parking and WiFi.  The staff is excellent each time I come.  I enjoy my stays here.

The hotel was nice, the staff was friendly and everything was clean. It's a simple hotel, but it had a kitchenette with a full fridge.My picky cat approved.You can order breakfast in the room, however we didn't do it as it looked like it was a lot of pre-packed stuff, so we decided to eat somewhere else.The hotel is a little bit farther from downtown Portland, but that wasn't an issue for us.

I’ve stayed here a few times over the past year and the staff has always been wonderful. Even though this is a relatively new property, during the past couple of stays there have been issues with kitchen appliances. One time, the microwave didn’t work at all but the staff opened a room next door for me to use the microwave in that room. Inconvenient, yes. But they solved the problem. The second time, when I made the reservation on their website, I requested that the ice maker already be turned on when I checked in. Unfortunately, this is one fail on the part of the staff because that request was ignored. When I got into my room, the fridge was mediocre so I turned it down to a colder temp. For some reason, doing so made the ice maker quit working altogether. The manager came up to look at it, turned the temp up a little and the ice maker started working. Problem solved.Overall, I’ve enjoyed staying here and look forward to being able to relax and cook a good meal or two.

Wonderful staff

I was skeptical at first, but I really like MyPlace Hotel.  Apparently and midwest/East coast chain founded by the founder of Super 8.  This location is about 4 yrs old so everything is nice and clean and no worn out things...especially the shower/bathroom.  Hair dryer and plenty of clean towels.   Also the white bedsheet smelled clean (like it was bleach washed).  Perfect...I know its sanitized.Overall everything is nice.   Good location, close to Elmers restaurant and right along the main 181st street.When in Gresham/Troutdale, I will check here first to stay.

The hotel accommodations are wonderful:  clean, spacious, comfortable.  I just did not appreciate being put at the end of the hall facing the freeway after I specifically asked for a quiet room.  We had just spent a week at a hotel adjacent to the elevator.  I was in dire need of a night of uninterrupted sleep by the time we got to My Place!

Didn’t Get a Quiet Room!

The hotel was really nice, close to airport (13 minute drive). They don’t have a shuttle service so we used Uber. They offer free parking and WiFi. Pet fee is very reasonable $17/ night compared to others charging $25+. The only disappointment was they have don’t have anything to use in the kitchenette. There is a reg size fridge, microwave and a stove but zero anything to use. They don’t even offer silverware. I am not used to that because Marriott Residence Inn does offer things to cook and eat with. They had one pot, plate, cup etc to purchase by the front desk.  It’s quite crazy to have such a nice hotel with nice amenities and no cooking or eating utensils. We were there for 5 nights.
