Some long term neighbors were loud. Other than that, a good budget hotel.

In a beautiful area of New Hampshire. We just needed a place to sleep as we were biking across New Hampshire headed for Bethel Maine. This was a good price, especially for summer season.

We were there one night and it was a very comfortable room and quiet.

The place is just a really nice, classic motor lodge. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. They were also really helpful - switching dates when I accidentally booked the wrong date. And they have EV charging onsite!  Great place and great price.

Pretty good for the price. AC worked well, shower worked, fridge and microwave worked, roomy and comfortable. It is not a five star hotel for sure, but as far as motels go it is pretty solid, will use again.

Pleasant staff, clean room, fresh smells, convenient for walking to restaurants, what more did we need for this one night in town? And the mountains are all around us. Highly recommend.

Overall it was fine.  Clean, convenient, and the staff was great.  Dealing with the office was a pleasure.

I don’t need anything fancy, as long as it’s clean and everything works I’m fine. It was clean, though the bathroom inexplicably smelled like chicken soup. Only complaints are we couldn’t find a hair dryer and there was a huge hole inside the bathroom sink cabinet than went into the floor. Kinda creepy. Also, not having staff on duty 24/7, while understandable, is inconvenient for those who arrive late and leave early. Other than that the shower had good water pressure and temperatures were normal, the beds were clean and we had plenty of pillows.

Was as I expected. Its semi updated and was clean. The bathroom was really small, and had bad chaulking but it was clean. There could have more towels. Beds were soft and comfy. It was a plus they had extra blanket and pillow in the room. Ac worked good. Staff was super freindly. Got a good nights sleep so I would return.

Dated but comfortable

Great place to stay!  It's a NCSE (Nice-Clean-Safe-Economical) New Hampshire motor inn with a Route 66 style/feel...love those types of motels...reminds me of my childhood.

It's a very well maintained older facility and Bob does a great job with the upkeep.

We got a great rate that fit our retired deep south budget and that was a big plus.

There wasn't a breakfast but several fast food chains, convenience stores  and restaurants were 3-5 mins. away.

Bob, thanks again for a great stay and I really enjoyed visiting with you and your sons before leaving...hope you got the new shed setup.  It was also really neat to find out that one of our head coaches in Texas was your son's head coach as well...small world.

Great People & NCSE (Nice-Clean-Safe-Economical)!

The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Our room was very quiet. Even though the hotel is on the main highway, we heard very little street noise (our room was in the corner where the 2 buildings meet).  The man who checked us in(sorry, didn't get his name) was very friendly and helpful.  Will definitely stay there again.

We (4 of us) got in late, and the keys (2 rooms - next to each other, Thank you!) were waiting for us.We didn't have to wake anyone for check-in. This was awesome!We met the Manager the next day - he was very friendly, helpful and fun to talk with. Even the cleaning man was very respectful.Great place to stay!!Who ever owns this place, has a great staff in place. And as managers of other peoples businesses and properties ourselves - we know how important that is.Thumbs up Northern Peaks!

Rested in the MT's

Nice room layout.  Small table, a couple of comfortable chairs.  A rocker. Clean fridge and microwave.  And a bedside power block that took my 3 prong plug and a couple of USB charging ports.  Wood floor (not carpet).  Physical key. Windows face away from parking areaMinor dings.  Parking for corner unit may not be usable if the adjoining spaces are full.  No view from room (didn't matter; plenty in the surrounding area)

Nice place to stay for the price. Our room was quite large, with two queen beds, a couch, small table and chairs. It has definitely been updated recently. No musty or smoke smell. Our room was on the second floor furthest from the office. Stairs, no elevator. Lots of hot water once we figured out how to use it (the shower fixture was installed backwards). We were unable to get onto their internet but did not ask for help, so it may have just been a glitch. It was a little noisy with motorcycles and street noise but that might be due to the events going on the weekend we visited. By the time we got back from our moose tour it was much quieter. All in all would recommend.

The outside is old, like you would expect from an established mountain business  however. Our room was big, bright and clean. The bathroom was updated and the shower was hugh. Probably tje only thing I would have liked is a hair dryer in the room and an extra latch on the door. Overall I would definitely stay again.

Worth it!

I like the fact that it is family owned and operated they r really nice people that r easy to talk to I don't like the fact that u have to put the do not disturb sign on ur door when ur not there so the maid doesn't go in and clean even when the maid serves tag isn't on the door other than that it is a really nice place to go they also have a hot tub but no pool.

Although an older property, the staff and cleanliness makes it worthwhile considering for those on a budget as we were. We had a quiet stay and the location was convenient. Clean sheets, hot shower. What more can you ask.
