We stayed in condo 208.  It was perfect.  I can't speak for other condos. So when you go to Gatlinburg, stay in the Gatlinburg Towers 208. 3 bedrooms. Nice little balcony. Very nicely decorated. Clean. Walk to all attractions in Gatlinburg.  Communication with owner is excellent. Condo 208 is called Bear Overlook.

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Gatlinburg Towers condo #408.  We knew it was a small condo, but it has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.  It was perfect for our family of 7. The kids slept on a air mattress in parents room. The beds were comfortable in all bedrooms. The kitchen is small but we only warned up food in microwave and used refrigerator. Loved having a washer and dryer. It was convenient to walk to the Parkway. This condo was clean and was perfect for our stay. I had a few questions before we arrived and the owner was quick to respond. Check in/out was a breeze. Perfect condo for our family!

We stayed for 3 nights for my birthday with my parents in condo # 606. The places was perfect for us. It was very clean, and well decorated.  We will definitely be renting here again in the future. Although the incline from the road is a bit steep when walking the distance to downtown wasn't too far a walk at all. Thanks for a great stay!

We were treated very well. The rooms were clean and appeared to be well cared for. The location is perfect because it is within walking distance of the main street with all the shops and wineries in close proximity.

Unit 606

Researching a location for wedding party in April

Condo was fairly short walk to shopping/dining/aquarium/Anakeesta. Dated, but clean. Pool & hot tub closed due to Covid. We stayed on 2nd floor, so view wasn’t great. Nice wooded view from 3rd floor and up, although no seating on that side. No window to view from main rooms. Balcony view from our condo was mostly other condos, but could get a glimpse of mountains. Not sure about upper floors. Too noisy, nothing to see, so didn’t use the balcony at all. Condo had everything we needed, but not much natural light. Bedrooms only had blinds, so too bright at night due to outdoor lights. Beds were very uncomfortable. Staff was friendly. Parking was free, but lot very steep. Overall probably priced appropriately for what you get- mainly decent location. 

Okay Place to Stay

Complex is in need of repair.  Pool is tiny and hot tub out of commission  (very disappointing). The unit itself did not have enough dishes to prepare meals for a family of 5. No coffee pot. Had to buy one.  Given 8 towels for the week.  No in room washer/ dryer.  The furniture needs replaced.  Arrived to a throw pillow with blood on it and a blanket with the tags attached (from K-Mart), which made us question if it had ever been washed. Unit did have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a nice TV.

Will Not Return

Under construction, but suited our needs for our family of 7 adults.  Close enough to everything.  A little difficult to find.  We were so humbled just to be in this beautiful town after the devastating fires that we were just happy to have a nice little place to stay.  We rented a private condo from someone that owns one here in Gatlinburg Towers and it was nice.  The week we were there was frigid, but the hot tub and indoor pool were nice after a long day of sightseeing in the cold. 

Not a horrible place to stay!

Condo 505 is very dirty and dark. Bathrooms sinks looked clean but floor and baseboards, cabinet fronts were coated in dust and dirt.     Not a lot of light in this condo hiding the dirt   Toaster was very nasty. We had to wash the coffee maker several times before using it.  Needless to say we ate our meals out. Towels were stained beyond belief. Three washcoths for 5 days. One handtowel  for  5 days.       Pool deck very dirty.  Was not inviting at all.   Smaller bedroom had only one table lamp. Bulb  went out, had to buy a new one.

Gatlinburg Towers 505

We made reservations for FIVE units (with another one added by the property manager) in November for an April wedding. We were told at that time that we didn't need to pay for the reservation until late January early February. When we attempted to pay February 2, we were told that no such reservation existed and there was only one unit available, with a possibility of 2 more. We had an email from the OWNER confirming the original arrangement and the NEW property manager said they would honor that for THREE units but not for FIVE. After many attempts to secure this property for our upcoming wedding, we gave up because no one was answering any emails, text messages or phone calls. We were finally able to secure ANOTHER, BETTER location for the wedding, albeit a LOT more money. THIS IS NOT A WAY TO OPERATE A BUSINESS.

Our FIRST visit went very well, then everything went downhill

The Condo unit 408 has mold and it was dirty.
We book this condo the VRBO and the owners name is Zeena Carperter. Our date that we booked it was from 5/12/18 thru 5/20/18. We arrived at 3:00 for check in. When we got into the elevator there was a musty smell in it. We we enter the unit 408 there was a strong moldy smell. We went on and unpacked and was only inside for about a total of 30 minutes. I notice my allergy was starting to go nuts.One I notice my allergy was going nuts and it was hard to breath I then looked around and found mold. We have to leave to make an appointment was was going for a few hours. We decided that this condo is just to unhealthy to stay in for the night. We booked a hotel for the night and we booked another condo for the rest of our stay. We went back to repack and it was hard for me to breath.There are only 1 or 2 windows that you could open to air it out.I took pictures of the mold and how dirty the place was. My husband has no allergy and it was getting to him also I called the owner and told her what had happen and she said that her cleaning company was just there on Thursday and said nothing to her about it. I asked about a refund and she said she had to look into it.I sent her the pictures and she said she didn't get them. So i sent them a few more time and no responds. I told her that I going to make a complaint and she said that I was threatening her to get a refund. After that responds i didn't respond. She did refund my $200.00 damage deposit. But I would of gotten that back anyway. So she was no help to us at all.
