Lots of space for a family with teen boys! Great off the strip location yet still close to everything. No problems like other reviews about disrepair. Having 2 bathrooms and bedrooms really made out stay more enjoyable. My only advice is to arrive in the daylight as the road up to the condo is narrow and windy.

Building is near Gatlinburg but feels remote and is very quiet; especially nice given the hectic, touristy towns including Pigeon Forge that guests will probably visit. No lobby, pool, hot tub. Just very nice 2 BR units with large BRs, comfortable LR and DR, and large kitchen.  Very good communication from Wyndham app that provides your check-in code, checkout instructions, etc. Great place to relax. If you prefer quiet places this is ideal.

Wow! This is a fantastic vacation condo.  When I told my wife and my parents we aren't staying at hotel, but a vacation home/condo, they were skeptical. 

The condo is conveniently located.  It is 3 miles to Gatlinburg (5 minutes drive), roughly 5 miles from entrance of Smoky Mountains.  The condo is located at the top of the hill.  At the foot of the hill (.4 mile from the condo), there's a McDonalds, Subway , gas station and a few convenient stores.  The Gatlinburg Trolley stop is roughly 1 mile away.  There's also a super market about 1.3 miles away.  As we were driving up the hill, my parents and wife were anxious commenting it's too quiet and too off the path.  Once they saw the condo, their view changed.  They were still skeptical, until they entered the room.  Their collective reaction was WOW!!!!  They still couldn't believe how much we paid for it.  

The condo is roughly 1350 sq feet.  We stayed at unit 152 (the second digit indicates the floor number, we are on the fifth , highest floor).  2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, huge open concept living room, kitchen, dining area.   Washing machine/drier were right by the master bedroom.  The balcony has a great view of a mountain range.   In the kitchen, there were knives, dishes, cookware, stove, fridge, dishwasher.  There were two blemishes to the unit.  There was some leak damage in living room area.  The leak has been fixed, but the ceiling hasn't be patched.  We know the leak was fixed, because one of the days we stayed, there was a massive 2 hour pouring rain.  Another nitpicking is the beds are a bit soft for our tasted, but overall, they are better than most 3 star hotel (ie, Quality Inn, Days Inn).  There is wifi on the premise.  At the peak, I could get 80mbps, but when it's congested, (around 9pm), I could still get about 3mbps.  If you care about cable TV, there were too many channels.  We barely watched TVs, and there were 3 of them.

The place is cozy and relaxing.  On the balcony, there's 2 rocking chairs.  We were so comfortable here, we ordered out and ate the condo every night instead of eating at restaurants.

There's no checkin process, we received access code a day before arrival.  Wifi information was emailed to us a day in advance.  Check out was simple as well, just click on the link from the email/text. 

Wife was so happy with the place, she wished we had driven from NYC on day 1 instead of stopping at Shenandoah, Va.  She wished we could stayed the whole week.  Even as I am typing this review, 3 full days after we left, she's still reminiscing.

We loved the condo we rented. Full kitchen living room and dining room 2 full bathrooms. Cable tv with lots of channels. Dishwasher and dishes provided. Washer and dryer to use as well! Very clean and relaxing. The view from our balcony was AMAZING! We will definately be staying here again!

Easy access to the condo good covered parking, garage and easy parking. the room are very nice for two couples and will sleep 6 with room to spare. Two bathrooms, plenty of closet space, nice equip kitchen. Very quiet located in a somewhat secluded area. The view could be better, but it works. Balconies overlooking woods and a grassy yard. The grounds are well kept. easy access to the market, and downtown Gatlinburg and Pigon forge. Located next to the craft loop.

This was our second time staying at the Glades View.  It is a very clean and extremely spacious condo for a very reasonable price.  We asked for a Military discount which they have but got a better deal that was going on during the time we were there.  They let us know that and we saved even more.  A lot to do in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area and this was a great getaway when finished for the day.  We will definitely be using Glades View in our future vacations to the area.

This is off of East Parkway, which means you'll either have go straight through the gauntlet in Gatlinburg or go towards Pigeon Forge and access the bypass in order to enter the park. 

Unit was very spacious and clean, although it looked worn for its age. The leather sleeper sofa had numerous tears. Common areas definitely needed a sweeping. Only had 1 set of towels and not many dishes/utensils, plan on washing them regularly if staying for several days.

We booked this because of the fact that you got a lot more room than the other hotels in the area that are $150-200/night.  This ran us about $140 a night +about $30 a night for "cleaning" fees.  We needed the room because we had four adults and two little kids.  

I can't give this place as high a rating as I wanted to.  There were several things I think they could do better.  First, make sure the place is clean.  They require you to check-in after 3 pm so the room is clean.  Well, there was dirt on the floor right at the entrance(see photo), there were pieces of Oreo cookie in a couple of drawers, and to top it off, there was lipstick on one of the pillowcases (see photo).  The closet with the cleaning supplies smelled pretty bad.  Another thing that is annoying- If I am paying $30 a night for cleaning, then I should not be expected to clean and take out the trash.  I was expected to clean the dishes and take the trash to the community bin at the end of the property.

Another issue: lack of luggage carts.  There are 24 units in the property.  ONE luggage cart.  By my math, you should have at least two, if not three.

I was expecting a better view from the patio(not just our unit, they are all like this).  You have this nice little patio with a rocking chair.  But your view is of giant trees that block the landscape.  You can see practically nothing.

The sign indicating the property was hidden by branches and very small, we missed it twice.  The floor was sunken in a spot next to the bedroom.  The washer is extremely slow.  The dishwasher was missing a wheel.  All the dishes were porcelain.  No plastic... Not the best choice for kids.  The pillows we had in our room were super flat.  Lastly, there is free wifi on the property, but you have to call and ask what the user and password is.  It's not listed anywhere, like say, on the fridge for convenience.  It was fast, about 50mbps.

I wanted this place to be a 5 star, but it fell short.  It is pretty off the main path too, so expect at least a 25-minute drive to anything you plan on doing.  Such as Dollywood or Walmart.

Decent, cheaper and more room than most hotels in the area

The condo is bare bones. The view from the porch is pretty and the condo is spacious. The beds are terrible, ice machine didn’t work, internet didn’t work. Called to report it , no one responded. The road leading to condo is very steep, windy and narrow.

The overall location and the layout of the condo were great; no complaints there.

Overall though, unbelievably bad.  Please pay attention to the reviews.  I usually don’t leave one unless there is a problem.  To begin, the owners should probably provide their housekeeping staff with better guidelines.  In addition to our own covid prevention cleaning, we had to vacuum or wipe off something in nearly every room.  There were very noticeable balls of dust/dirt / dead bugs on the floors.  Most of the walls were scuffed, stained, or chipped.  The couches were both peeling and they tried to cover them up with furniture protector.  The beds were horrible, not at all comfortable, felt like we were sleeping on the springs.  We were denied early check in “in order to allow ample time for our housekeeping staff to thoroughly clean”.  This was an insult.  The property owners need to do better and reinvest in their property.  Doing so may avoid these types of reviews.
