It was very clean and updated. The staff was friendly and they had a decent selection for breakfast. Would definitely recommend for people who don't want to spend an arm and a leg for a nice room.

We had stayed at the same location 2 weeks prior. The location is a perfect distance to travel in a day to our vacation destination. We were frozen in our room! We turned the thermostat up to 79. Didn't seem to make a difference. In the middle of the night I looked for blankets. No luck.This time I requested blankets when we checked in. Still turned the thermostat up to 81 but were nice and warm and toasty.

The staffing and management are amazingly helpful and kind

Was looking for a budget friendly hotel close to Corning and Watkins Glen and I found it! It was alot more spacious than I thought it be. A big comfy king size bed. Yes, the hotel is older and you can see some small updates have been made but it was enough to suit our needs. I was shocked to find we even had a microwave in our room. The free popcorn and sweets in the lobby was a nice touch. The complimentary breakfast is basic but enough for us and it was also a nice surprise with the price we paid. I would stay here again!

Our stay was just okay. We got checked in right away it smelled like a movie theater with the fresh popcorn so that was nice. We had a room on the second floor and there was no elevator, My hubby and I both have a bad knee so that sucked. There was a bunch of people waiting for breakfast in the morning while the girl was outside smoking we had to ask her to open the door. Other then that it was fine.

Just an ok stay

Good place to live. Cooperative staffs. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good. You can enjoy the nice fall color from the parking lot and room as well. One suggestion: although blanket was clean, better to replace wool blanket with comforter. Overall, it's a nice place to enjoy the fall color or summer around the Watkins Glen/ Ithaca.

The likes: no carpet, room darkening blinds worked, no key card issues, room was clean and bathroom was clean, bed good. View was spectacular! Popcorn, fresh made cookies, water and coffee available in the lobby. Staff was friendly. Location worked for us as it's off the highway. Stayed one night to get sleep and hit the road in the morning.The dislikes: getting off the highway and going by the hotel to use a roundabout to come back to the hotel. Also, have to keep your eye open to see the driveway in, keep in mind it is a walk up, shower drained slowly but it was ok and not backing up on your feet. Breakfast was ok.

We have stayed here three times. Pros: It's conveniently located off the interstate but surrounded by lawn and quiet; staff is friendly; place is clean; they have rooms dedicated to travelers with dogs ($20 fee and make sure to call ahead). Cons: The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear noise from neighbors; the plumbing can be slow (all 3 visits, so it must be a systemic issue).

Negotiating the roundabouts to get to the hotel were a little confusing. It was in the middle of nowhere. Handicap parking not convenient to the entrances. Getting to town for food was confusing. Getting back even more so, but the restaurant made it worthwhile with the quality of food. Desk chair a little hard, but matched well with desk. Layout also okY with facilities around an alcove affording privacy. Cut down on ambient light. Second person was tremendous help, repeat customers

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The property has lots of green space and ample parking.  Just lovely.Our room was very clean, bed was comfortable, towels were soft and water pressure was excellent.  Breakfast was the usual continental style, staff continued to refill items in breakfast room. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Price was best in area.  We would highly recommend this property for an overnight stay!!

My first impression of this property was that it is SO CLEAN. We stopped here on a road trip during the Canadian wildfires this summer, so the whole area was blanketed in smoke. I was NOT excited about staying at an EconoLodge - we were having a rough trip because of the smoke and I wanted a little bit of luxury. Well if EVERY EconoLodge were like this one, I'd stay there all the time!  The staff were very friendly, there were all kinds of little extras - tea, snacks, ice water - nothing expensive, but tiny touches that made us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, the area was quiet and restful, and it was SO comfortable. The place was absolutely spotless; whoever runs their housekeeping deserves an award.  Overall I had the impression that this place was run with love and with an attitude of taking care of the guests. I actually felt like a GUEST, a welcome guest, as opposed to the transactional feeling of simply being a paying customer that is present at so many other properties.  Whoever is managing this property is doing it right.  I would actually be willing to rearrange future road trips to specifically go by this property so we could stay here again. 

Outstanding experience, spotless, quiet and comfortable with excellent breakfast

I consider this an excellent value.  Facility is relatively new and in good condition.  The staff are nice people.  The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.  Breakfast included, was simple, but adequate.  Coffee, juices, yogurt, cereal, bagels, pastries, toast, apples, bananas.  Plenty of parking.  Internet speed was adequate for my purposes.  Table and chair in the room were fine for  for using a computer.  Food, fuel, and shopping are only minutes away.  I'd stay there again.
