Stayed here in the past and most recently coming and going to Portland.  So enjoy the sounds of the river rushing past the "cabin".  The Motel Del Rogue is a charming, comfy, and clean place to stay.  The hosts are helpful and friendly.  Looking forward to my next visit!

I can't believe it's taken me so long to write this! My partner and I had the most amazing road trip stop here on our way from L.A. to Portland in late summer/early fall last year. It was so wonderful that we stopped here again on our way back home even though it meant a much longer second leg of our drive, haha. The property is stunning, and both rooms we stayed in were spotlessly clean! Beautiful, rustic decor, dog-friendly, and also spotlessly clean is basically my version of heaven. All of this, plus we got to meet/interact with each member of the family who owns the motel and they were all incredibly kind and helpful. We felt so safe at the Motel del Rogue, which is really important to us. This year we hope to make this a longer stay as opposed to a stop so we can relax and enjoy and have our Oergon friends come meet us. Can't wait!

Amazing family operated Inn right on the river. Beautiful spaces and comfortable beds. We brought our two dogs and they loved the balconies and the walks along the river bank. Watching the sun set and rise from the balcony was a great moment of peace in our journey. My fiancé and I were moving our lives from Texas to Washington and just happened to choose Grant’s Pass as a resting place. We couldn’t be happier with our choice as this Motel felt like a brief home during our trek. Quaint features and antiqued items adorn the entire estate. Feel free to disconnect and take a deep breath as nature and old-world aesthetics encompass you. Yet, modern technology isn’t too far with Wi-if and a TV available in the room. Nothing but amazing things to say about the place and the wonderful folks running it.

My boyfriend and I were on a road trip and visiting Grants Pass (and Oregon) for the first time ever, and we happened to stumble upon Motel del Rogue. Initially, we were attracted to this place because they allow pets and our pet cat could stay with us, but when we arrived, it surpassed our expectations in every way. We were lucky enough to get a room on the second floor - which was incredibly spacious and included two bedrooms, a kitchen area and a large outdoor balcony that we could access directly from either bedroom. The balcony had a gorgeous view overlooking the Rogue River and we were immediately in love with the surroundings which included beautiful trees, the flowing river, and the mountains in the distance.

In addition to the beautiful ambience of the motel, the only thing better was being able to meet the owners of the motel - Kevin and his family, who are the most genuine and kind folks you could meet on a road trip. They were so lovely to talk to (and by the way have the greatest pet cats - forgot the names! But so cute!), and not only that, they were the most accommodating and gracious hosts. We kept changing our checkout date each day and extended our stay about five different times, and they were so very kind and flexible about it. Further, our car had gotten a flat tire and we had to call a tow truck to help us out, and Kevin and family were so kind as to give us a discount on our room just to help ease the situation. Just overall  really great people and wonderful service!

We would undoubtedly stay here again when we pass through, and truly looking forward to it!

I writing about my most amazing stay at Motel del Rogue. I was displaced for two months from my home because of a fire. 
The owners Kevin/Constance & Sylvia created a home for me, my daughter and 3 year old granddaughter during a difficult time. They also have the most amazing housekeepers Rhonda, Remy (from the Philippines) and Ray who also tend to you and spoil you.
No one is a stranger to this establishment. They welcome everyone from everywhere. Pets are also welcome. The motel is set directly on the beautiful Rogue River with beautiful trees, birds, and everything involved with nature. 
I would like to come back again just as a visitor for a weekend get away. I understand they have a family group that comes once a year for 15 years now to have their family reunion. That should say something of what a friendly, homey place it is. 
Next time you’re in Grants Pass think about stopping by for a well welcome stay.

Motel Del Rogue is a wonderful place to stay.  Whenever we need to travel to the area we are thrilled that it gives us a chance to visit our most favorite motel ever!  Kevin and family are wonderful hosts.  The rooms are charming and comfortable.  And what makes it even better is that they are welcoming to our dogs.  We can’t wait to visit again!!!

For the 6th year my 2 friends and I have met at this magical 1930’s Motor Court to make art and plans for the new year ahead. There is nothing to distract or disturb you in this untouched piece of nature. The hosts, Kevin, Constance and Sylvia are devoted to keeping the past be the present. They do a great job of it!
And don’t get me started about the fantastic sleep you will get from the stillness, the darkness, and the best beds & wonderful linens, including the ironed pillow cases   
We look forward to many more years.

Our favorite hideaway is a charming classic on the banks of the Rogue River. The Motel Del Rogue is homey comfort in every way. Owners Kevin, Constance and Sylvia are super pleasant and helpful. The whole experience is a throwback to a more personal and tranquil world. Did I mention that every room has a porch right on the famous Rogue River? An absolute bargain at today's crazy hotel prices!
We stay there every time we go to southern Oregon to visit family.

We just love Motel Del Rogue!  Our kids live nearby....and this is just a lovely little spot to stay while visiting them.  The rooms are consistently immaculate, kitchen dishes,  towels, beds and bedding are of very nice quality.  The setting could not be nicer....IF viewing wildlife on  the river is something  you appreciate.  Especially during this pandemic...we appreciate our stay here.  Park the car and direct access to the room.  No big hotel lobbies, hallways and elevators.  Felt very Covid safe....All protocols in  place.  Owner and staff always cheerful and helpful.    Highly recommended.

I stayed one night at the Motel Del Rogue in July of 2020, and firstly, let me tell you that one night at this property is not even close to enough. Not only is the location absolutely spectacular (riverfront with plenty of space and seating to enjoy the view) but the family that runs it must be some of the nicest and most genuine people on the face of the planet. 

Before I get into too much detail, I need to share an example of the care and courtesy that the owners exhibit. I left my binoculars somewhere on the property, and made my way back down south on my road trip none the wiser. About a week later, I get a call from the Kevin, the owner, asking if I by chance had left my binoculars at the hotel. Mind you, I had taken them to the river and had no idea I had left them, but they belonged to my brother and had a little note "To Tommy." 

Knowing that there had not been a Tommy staying there that week, Kevin called EVERY PERSON who had stayed there until he found me and was able to send the binoculars back. I tried to offer to pay him to send them back and he refused, doing it entirely out of the goodness of his heart. 

I worked in 5-star hotels for nearly a decade and have been blessed enough to travel the world, and I can tell you that I have never seen the level of pride and care from anyone in this industry, nor anything that comes even close.

The same pride Kevin has for his family (in the lobby is a framed article about Sylvia, his tennis star daughter who was there helping us throughout our stay) he has for his property and guests. The atmosphere of inclusivity and the inner beauty of the ownership not only resonates throughout the motel, but in everything this place is and stands for.

If you are in a 100 mile radius, change your plans and come to the Motel Del Rogue. You will not regret it, and I can tell you that I can't wait to come back.

Absolutely ABOVE and BEYOND

I have traveled for business across the northwest for the last five years and there is no where I would rather stay than Motel Del Rogue. I’ve stayed at every chain hotel out there, experiencing one terrible night’s sleep after another. I believe there are two important factors in choosing accommodations 1. How comfortable is the bed and 2. Staff attentiveness.

Motel Del Rogue is owned and operated by a family that makes me feel like an extension of their family. In fact, they have become a part of ours as well, as I’ve now been bringing my kids and husband for vacations for the last three years. We all love it and frequently share meals and visit for hours on the beautiful riverfront that the motel sits along.

Let’s talk about the accommodations; the beds are vintage and that might make you think they would be rickety or uncomfortable but it is just the opposite. They have chosen good linens, great pillows and warm blankets so it’s like sleeping in my own bed. I often sleep so well, it doesn’t even feel like a business trip!

I’ve been told that Motel Del Rogue has been accommodating weary travelers since the 30’s and the owners have taken the time to fill this small space with tons of vintage treasures to give you the sense you’ve stepped back in time. From period perfect kitchenettes to lamps and art, straight from a mid century time capsule, everything about this motel is unique and quirky.

Don’t stay here if you are expecting a bleached out, taupe and bland chain hotel experience. This is not your space. 

DO stay here if you want the most beautiful river views, kind and attentive staff, comfortable beds and the coolest, affordable, unique accommodations in the northwest. 

Plus the coffee is amazing!
