Kings Canyon Motel

I stayed there with my family, very nice staff, friendly people and clean rooms. It was a good value for the price. Fresno fairgrounds is walking distance and grocery store close by. I liked the convenience of location

I am on my business trip,and so glad that choose the right hotel for me and my boss.very friendly and helpful family of the owner.comfortable bedroom,very clean and tidy. Convenient shopping area. Your best choice,extra value.

When I come to Fresno next time,no doubt that will be staying here again.  :-)

We ended up at this motel because it was very late at  night and it was too far to go to Comfort Stay Three Rivers which is next to Sequoia, so we saw this motel and we decided to take a chance. We had 4 adults and a 2 year old. Yes, it is not a 5 star hotel and not a 3 star either. It is a motel and you get what you pay for. Everything else there is above $ 100 per night. This one was $ 67 which I think is pretty reasonable considering that you have Yosemite park and Kings canyon right there. Yes the linens did not look fresh but the staff convinced me that they were, I asked them to change them anyway. Friendly staff. The room is fine, pretty green walls, TV and fridge. If you are looking for something to spend your day  this is not the right place, if you are looking for something to sleep in and spend your night it is fine. For motels in the area I am giving it 4 star considering the ratio of price/ quality. Staff is friendly and responsive, quite area, no hookers or drug dealers, nice family motel.

Nice people,perfect services

Very clean and affordable

I was looking for an affordable place to stay while I looked for a place and while this place is affordable you get what you pay for. The area is kind of shady and the rooms are old and somewhat smelly. The pics do not look like the hotel looks in person, the staff is far from friendly and no perks. I would avoid if possible.

Try to avoid

Pictures online are not like they are in person. Rooms have a bad odor and shower were not working properly. The bed linens had hair and seemed dirty. There was 3 people and only 2 towels, we asked for another and they made a big deal until my husband told them it was ridiculous and they provided one more. There was people knocking very loud at all hours in the night (seems like they did drugs) and perhaps even prostitution. Will NEVER go there again.

Worst experience in a hotel/motel

I have had no problems while I've stayed here. This is why I come back, but if the rooms were up graded it would be a very nice motel the management are good people as far as I can tell. If I owned this motel I would put profits aside to up grade rooms one by one.
