Just stayed in Unit 304 at the Braidwood for the weekend. If you're looking for a nice, inexpensive condo to stay in Winter Park, this is a nice option for the money. We rented a three bedroom for the 7 of us and it worked very nicely...plenty of room. The location is fine. I'm not sure you'd walk to much from there but it's an option if you want. Pretty much everything in WP is right there on Hwy 40 and has parking available. Condo is a bit dated but not terribly. Decorated in typical cabin type of decor. This unit had three bathrooms as well as three bedrooms and we didn't feel crowded at all. There was a fireplace stocked with plenty of wood that we used on two nights and a gas grill that we used to cook on one of the nights. It was very quiet around the complex...except that you are right off some railroad tracks that are fairly active. I think there were at least 4 trains a day that went through there.,,probably more since wouldn't have seen the ones that came by during the day. The people I was traveling with really enjoyed staying there and we were pleased with the value.
