Fun place to stay. Quaint. I'll stay here again!

This is a great little get away. It’s quiet, peaceful, and serene. The Inn is lovely, warm, and comfortable. It sits surrounded by New Hampshire mountains and the vistas are breath taking. The food is amazing. The owners, Carrie and Bob, are warm and friendly. Brian, the barkeep, is also a lovely individual. There are lots of places to walk and explore. The ski resort is nearby. I will be returning.

My friend and I had an overnight stay at Blue Bear Inn after hiking Mt Monadnock.We stepped in and were welcomed by the owner, Carrie, and the bartender, Brian right away. Check in was a breeze. We had a room with a shared bathroom which was perfect and cute. Carrie made sure we knew we had a shared bath because some guests had been surprised by it. The room was cute and perfect for us.The property and the grounds are so quaint and beautiful. The owners are new to the property and they made our stay so lovely. It was great talking to them and meeting their dog Baloo. The whole staff were really lovely. We had the pleasure of eating dinner at the Inn and it was exactly what we wanted after a full day of hiking. Brian made wicked good martinis and the every crumb of food disappeared. We both look forward to staying at Blue Bear Inn again.

What an amazing place! The rooms and inn are charming, clean, and comfortable. The property is beautiful. The restaurant is outstanding with delicious food. But what stood out the most was the staff for both the restaurant and the inn. We checked in at about 7pm and the woman who helped us was personable, funny, warm and welcoming. We really felt like our needs were a priority. Our server was amazing and knowledgeable and the service itself was impeccable. We will be making this trip a yearly tradition. Thank you to everyone at The Blue Bear for an incredible experience!

Amazing food & cute little bar. It’s quite isolated, but that’s New Hampshire. We will stay again when visiting our daughter. I’d recommend it.

Nice place, convenient to Crotched. Several nice restaurants within 15 minute drive. Hotel’s restaurant not available during our stay

The inn was absolutely amazing. All of the staff were super friendly and the service was outstanding. Location was perfect as it is just down the road from Crotched. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for the perfect ski getaway not too far away from Boston. Will most certainly be coming back!!

Quaint as a Hallmark Movie

Can’t wait to go back!

I was on an out of town trip and happened to find the Blue Bear Inn. I originally chose this place to due to convenience however it did not take long upon arrival that this is a GREAT little place to stay. Lorrie the owner is fabulous, and I plan to return again with my wife to enjoy this place more.

The care given to having a quiet environment while offering an intimate tavern, intimate music a couple of evenings a week, 24 hour self serve snacks & drinks was very appreciated by this guest. The Innkeepers have been successful at providing modern conveniences along with the colonial charm in a BEAUTIFUL outside landscape.

All good other than amenities in room. No soap or shampoo in shower. No trash basket in room, only in bathroom.

We loved the warm and friendly atmosphere at the Blue Bear Inn.   We'll definitely go back!
