Ute Motel

Very clean,very quiet despite the area around it. Lots of good food close. Loved the picnic table. Will be back.

The hotel is furnished with a quirky second-hand chic that I believe makes it feel more like home.

The owner was very nice and easy to work with. Our room was very clean, comfortable and we would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Ute motel was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. We appreciated a reasonably priced, no frills place to just sleep in for the night.

Nice attendant. Clean room. We had booked a room with one queen, but they gave us a room with 2 queen beds! That was unexpected, but great! Easy to check in/out. Park close to your room.

Spacious room, full sized refrigerator, table and 2 dressers, not fancy but all the basics. Near I-25, but no traffic noise.

The checkin was really great. The receptionist offered up warm friendly smiles and a really inviting welcome was given. The hotel looked more like an old German Alps lodge had it been painted white with the brown trim remaining.This motel has been meticulously maintained and repaired. The owners work daily to keep the grounds virtually spotless. There is a small table and chair and ash tray outside every room. So smoke from your neighboring rooms pour into your room. Lots of old junky cars. With lots of old people looking like respite care candidates lurking about. Drinking beer out front of their rooms as they chat, play cards strum guitar or play harmonics. They charge a total ripoff rate of $8.00 a load. With their one washer and one dryer. Sitting outside under a homemade hard plastic covering.This motel is surrounded by laundromats @$2.75 a load minimum. The room was ok.... bathtub was very dirty. Caked on, hard crusted dirty stains. They need to use better cleaning stuff. Baking soda with a rotating scrubber needed here. Or some other heavy abrasive !! Furnature was all old and antique looking with blotchy looking worn off faded finishing. Carpets were new looking. The bed was a mich mash of thrown together matress and box spring. Both were very very old and faded. WiFi and TV worked great. This area is surrounded by activities and stores. Not far from malls, shops, libraries, gas stations, restaurants, repair shops and more. All within walking distance.

My husband and I spent all last week at this motel and it was not at all what I expected.  I paid 366 dollars so I thought it would be a dump, but it was clean, lots of space and pretty quiet. There's not a lot of parking and it could use some updating, but the staff was super nice.  My room had two rooms, a large bathroom, and a kitchenette.  The only time I heard anything other than the ac in my room was the train and every now and then steps from upstairs, but it wasn't any more than you hear in an apartment.  They even have a grill and picnic area that you can use.  It's not a fancy motel, but it was exactly what we needed for the week.  It's also not downtown, it's about a 20 minute drive to almost anywhere in Colorado Springs.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

Not at all what I expecteted

The motel was nice. Easy check-in and check out. Everything in the room worked, and it was clean. The only downside was the parking lot was on the smaller side.

Good Deal for a 1 night stay. But the room could use a thorough cleaning & various upgrades. Best Wishes

Great for a 1 Nighter

Friendliest staff. Room was very clean. Outdated, but clean. Fountain as a whole is trashy place. But Ute made my short stay very accommodating.
