For the price this was one of the best motels we have stayed in. Comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive. When my daughter left her beloved stuffed stitch doll the owners mailed it back priority mail immediately. I would stay again.

Room was clean and neat. Towels and linens were fresh, not worn, clean and not stained. 
The lady at the front desk was very polite, understanding of our situation and provided us the necessary accommodations.
We felt very comfortable and safe here. No riff raff, no loud music blaring and no one hanging out in the parking area. 
This is not a high-end motel, but it meets the basic needs. 
My husband and I will be returning to this quaint little place.

We stayed here in July 2019 during a road trip. We needed a place to stay in the area for one night and found this place at an excellent rate of $45 per night. We did our research and read the great reviews, but was surprised to find an Inn at such a great rate, so far off the beaten path. We didn't really know what to expect when it came to the location of this place. When we arrived we were pleased to find that it was in a beautiful, quiet location and was family operated. The staff were very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. Our room was cozy with a VERY comfortable bed, a TV, a seating area, and air conditioning. The room itself and the bathroom were very clean and well kept. The room had an overall "at home" feel.   
The only half negative thing we could mention is the abundance of dolls and other figurines on display on some of the furniture in our room. While they may have been placed there to add to the charm of the place, they were taking up space on the furniture which meant less space for belongings/luggage. 
Overall, we had an amazing stay here with one of the most comfortable beds that we had on our entire road trip.  We would definitely recommend and would stay here again if in the area.

Hidden treasure off the beaten path

Like staying with family

We have stayed at the Country View Inn a half dozen times in the past 3 or 4 years.  We stayed twice in early December. . . and will do so again at some future time.  During the time we have been there, the rooms have been updated.  They are clean, well furnished. . . and the dolls and teddy bears DO NOT creep us out.  We  find that they give our rooms a "homey" look. . . not unlike staying in our children and grandchildren's homes.  It's clean and quiet and very affordable.  My only suggestion, which I have given to the owners is the need to replace the mattress in one of the rooms from our last stay.

Motel is not fancy but very comfortable for a great night’s sleep. It was clean. There were a few detractions such as all the knick knacks all over the room and had to move them to get counter space for your stuff. Also the ice machine was out of order  when I went to get ice for cold water to drink. The owners are very nice. Would stay again when in the area.

After a car problem on I 77 Southbound, my family (7) + one more(sweet puppy) had to spend the night at a near by hotel/motel. We tried several of the tried and true brands but were told they were not pet friendly options. We ended up booking with Country View Inns. George Hedrick, owner came and picked us up from our “sick” car and transported us to his Inn. The Inn was a bit older but was furnished “lovingly” by the owners sister Donna. The motel itself although older suited our needs for the night and the staff  (George, sister Donna and another male family member) were awesome hosts. They wanted to know if we needed transport to any breakfast restaurants the next am. We did not want to eat out and even though they had coffee , oatmeal packs and other breakfast offerings, George cooked sausage biscuits for us and gave us homemade blackberry jam biscuits. Delicious. So if you are ever in the area of Fancy Gap and want hospitality unmatched in any modern hotel chain, Do not hesitate. These folks are real. Richie, our “fur” baby slept very soundly.

Well my family was the only ones staying in the motel that night. The place is a bit strange, however the room was clean and cheap and at least there wasn't any riff raff staying at the motel. Wasn't a horrible experience by any means but i wont be back with my kids again
