Very Clean under new management Quiet. Has country mart next door and gas station and dollar store on the other side !! Also has a swimming pool at the back during summer its great fun. Very friendly staff.

I have stayed at this motel twice. 

The first time, I stayed in a King-sized suite, which was spacious, clean, and peaceful. Everything worked: showers, refrigerator, microwave, television and WIFI. The staff are extremely thoughtful.   

My second visit was an extended stay in a Queen-sized Suite--and this is a weird thing to notice, but it has flawless beautiful, wood paneling, floorboards, joints. Whoever did the paneling and tile was an old-time craftsman (or craftswoman). It does not have a full-sized desk, which would have been handy. But warm-toned nice carpeting, a TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot with coffee/creamer packets and shower/bath. Its very clean, there are no bugs, and the staff wait on you hand and foot. I really like it.

We attended a wedding reception in Sabetha and we stayed the night at this hotel. We stayed in a King suite, the room was very spacious and had lots of amenities. I’m not sure why some reviews were so negative. There were several friends that stayed here to and I didn’t hear one complaint from anyone.Will definitely stay again.

it was a great stay! specious and comfortable and most important clean and Budget rate!! tv, and internet worked fine. Water was hot in the morning and It was nice and quite. Would stay there again thank you.

We arrived in the dark, it looked old but nice on the outside. We were tired so pulled in and booked a room. The charge was  $ 85, I first thought that is high for 2 people and a small dog, especially since I stayed in a 4 star for  $95. I was not impressed with room it was clean but not worth that much. Then they wanted my dog to sleep on the floor on a blanket. The sign out front said doubles for  $39. This room needs a up grade.

This place was Absolutely ridiculous. Had two separate neighbors that rent weekly come over and tell me that I should not leave anything valuable in the room because the manager is a drug addict and a thief. We were on a hunting trip so I had a couple extra cellular cameras and I left one in the room so once the manager saw that she didn’t come back to our room.
The room itself was filthy it had masking tape on everything like they were going to paint it but never did. The toilets were loose and rocked back-and-forth on the floor and gave off a sewer smell so we had to keep the bathroom doors closed. The furniture was broken and old, there were no blinds on the bathroom window. And in the final straw was when I woke up with spider bites all over my body.
The staff is shady the neighbors are shady it’s a broken down mess and I would not recommend this to anyone especially if you have your wife or kids along with you.

Horrific!!

Looks OK from the outside.  I should have taken a hint from the lack of cars.  They wanted $65 for the room. No veteran's discount but extra charge if you have a pet - even in a carrier.  We were tired so I booked the room without looking at it. BIG mistake. The front door jamb was destroyed - someone had kicked the door open and it was very poorly tacked together - NO SECURITY.  Inside the room reeked of tobacco. The meager towel stack was threadbare, shredded - I wouldn't use as dishrags - maybe clean a car with them.  There was ONE bar of soap at the sink, no other supplies. The bed sheets also threadbare, stained. Mouse turds in the corners.  TV ancient.  I didn't check the wi-fi they claim. $65 is WAY overpriced - not even a $30 room but I wouldn't stay here at any price. I took the wife and we ran an errand while we talked about it - she doesn't want to stay here either. Got back to the office in 15 minutes.  He refused to refund my money. I told him, we will charge him with fraud at the bank. He didn't care.  I told him, you can't conduct business in this country, this way (he's foreign).  That's where it stands today - a chargeback is in process at the bank.

Go somewhere else.  Anywhere.  We went West on 36 about 10 miles and stayed at Seneca KS - there are GOOD motels there. At Seneca, paid $69 complete, got vets discount no pet charge, very clean room (won't mention the name but you will find it).

Wow.  Worst dump I've seen in years.

I don't know where these four and five star review people stayed, but it definitely wasn't this motel.we pulled in and asked for a non smoking room and asked if we could see the room before we committed to staying there.the front desk clerk was more than willing to let us look at the room. The room we looked at first was supposed to be a non smoking room but stank of cigarette smoke. when questions the clerk said they could possibly be because it was right next door to a smoking room. so he gave us the keys to a room in middle of the motel, and this room was slightly less smokey, but that only meant you could smell the mildew better. After returning the key to that room, we got the key to a third room to look at and this one also smelled. the clerk said that these rooms had been shut up for a while and maybe just needed aired out so we agreed to stay there and went to run some errands for an hour. He guaranteed that no smoking had taken place in those rooms since he had had it for past 5 years. Smoke is embedded in carpets, drapes, bed, and paneling. When we came back the room still stank and we decided we would be unable to sleep/breathe there for the night. On the upside, the clerk was very understanding about our decision and had no problem refunding our money.
