The room was clean, nicely laid out, very comfortable bed.

Affordable option for a good night sleep and an excellent meal.

This place is very beautiful.  Our room was perfect except for the bathroom fan.  We had a view outside our window of the river.

The buffet wasn’t the best for $23. The communal carpets were dirty. The location was great as well as the coffee shop. Staff was super nice.

Dealing with the cruise people was sort of a pain. The wait staff in the lounge needed to brush up on alcohol names and cocktails. Your POS was not up to date as I could see bottles on the shelf but had to argue with the waitress that you in deed had it in stock.The rooms were run down and used. Facelift needed. It was a clean as it could be

Cons:Our room was not ready when we checked in at 4pm.Desk staff were unhelpful from the start. They gave us our keys and didn’t give any instructions or directions until we obviously looked lost in the lobby. I requested a king bed 3 months prior to our trip and it wasn’t fulfilled. We ended up sleeping in separate full size beds. TV has terrible lines running through it no matter what channel it was on. Pros:Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

I appreciated the opportunity for a stay at the last minute. The staff were really responsive and excellent-- particular kudos go out to the front desk and tour desk folks. Very very helpful and friendly. the grounds and location are also beautiful. As this is a location for cruise transfers, you should know it feels a little like a train station. The health club was closed, with no notice until you walked downstairs. I checked out early due to a change in plans, and they were having trouble finding my foliio. In the middle the manager came up and acted as if I was asking for a refund for the final night, which I was not. You should also know there is no housekeeping service at all unless you ask for it. But with these criticisms, it was a comfortable and nice place to land. Also if you are booking on expedia, check  before you finalize to see if there are any specials if you book direct. They had a 50 percent off second night that I could not get with my expedia booking. I recommend.

I liked the location of the property and service was exceptional.  what I didn't like was the strict check in time of 3 pm, no room for earlier check in for travelers. Also, I was a single traveler and didn't know about the tours coming through, very busy and very loud even at night. I wasn't happy with the room I was given since by elevators and lobby, even more loud.  also no hand soap in the bathroom.  the location and grounds were nice, restaurant good food. breakfast buffet a bit basic. thanks.

Property was great. Room was great, restaurant inside was great (wish it offered more varieties to choose from, though), the hotel has a coffee shop inside much like Starbucks, has a souvenir shop that sells more than you probably wish for. All-in-all I would recommend this hotel. The only thing I was not thrilled about was the remote area it was in, away from Fairbanks downtown, but was perfect for walking around and reach other restaurants in the area. Also safe.

That no one had any info about their shuttle service.   N body seemed to know.   I’d of muddled my flight out.    Tours rule.    I’m an Alaskan resident and any hotel has made my life much harder due to pure greed .   I am 78 I was told Princess Riverview HAD a shuttle to airport.  Then the day I drove up to Fbks to store my car.   No way to even get TO you and once there.   Nope no shuttle.      Then got redirected to yes there is.     But the desk and lobby had no idea.    Got a few hrs sleep.  Ate.    But had I not kept walking outside and inside I never would have seen this huge empty bus and a 20 yr old who had no idea what to do just in this empty bus.    Nice kid took me to airport.     Shuttle to 2 am flight is the ONLY reason I need a room at all.

Our stay was very nice!  The staff in the gift shop was outstanding!  As well as the staff in the dining room and the outside deck dining!  Annabell, was out waitress on the outside deck, Madison and Coleman were the morning staff in the dining room, all went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and were very helpful in planning our day!

Replacing simple coin-op machines like laundry and soda is an insufferable practice.  I don't need an outside company collecting my purchasing history of a freaking soda so they can tailor their approval amounts.  The laundry was another story-- 7 or 8 bucks for one load, but you have to download an app to use it.  Which you can't do in a concrete basement.  And the machine didn't work anyway.  The ext to call to report it doesn't get answered.  An hour an a half later, I finished one load of laundry.  There's no microwave in the room.  There's on in the community room, about a 10-mile walk back to the other end of the hotel.  This is a place to corral cruise-line passengers into banquet rooms.  They do not treat regular travelers well in any respect.

We spent 2 nights here. Arrived 10pm first night. We are on a Priness cruise tour,  10 land and 7 sea days. We thought the breakfasts were great. Lots of berries, hot food on the buffet were Ok . The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was on the river with a nice view. This was the start of our Cruise Tour. The hotel was OK , nothing great not thing bad. Our Princess excursions the next day Riverboat were great. We were not here for the Hotel but fir Alaska. 

 

Nice stay in Fairbanks 

This stay was part of a package with Princess Cruises. Great lodge, very comfortable but that was it. As the lodge is way out of town you are compelled to eat there. At this time we were told there was 15 - 45 minute wait at both restaurants. To our surprise the restaurant, when we were eventually seated, was half empty and it took us over an hour to receive our meals. I did question the supervisor who advised me that they only had half the kitchen staff on as other workers were waiting for their visas. Get your act together Princess, super organised with tours and buses etc but visitors don’t want to wait 90 minutes to eat at best, mediocre food.
