Debbie is as sweet as they come. She goes above and beyond to help. BUT Room 138 had a flooded bathroom and holes burned in the bedding. Moved to 139. The room is horrible.  There was no hot water at all.Poor Debbie had to work a double because no one came to relieve her.  She was so tired this morning,  she fell asleep and didn't get coffee going.This is no way to run a motel.

Very helpful to my grandpaw and parents. I booked the room for them. Thry was going to elkcity for class reunioun for my grandpaw and a family reunion.

The location is easy to get to. The staff is kind and courteous. The room is spacious and clean.

We broke down about 20 miles from this town. We were hot and tired and so sad. Debbie and her crew made everything perfect. I cannot rave enough about her and the rest of the folks at this motel. The room is a better one for Motel 6. Not perfect, but I love that I can bring my Chihuahua's. I am so thankful for these people. I will definitely stay here in the future

An older property with a customer focus like it should be. They have restored this place best they can to be a nice place. its older but everything is in working order & it could not feel more like home. GM remembers her guests from year to year. She is very customer focused & you can tell she has hired  employees that do the same. Every time they see you they speak & ask f there is anything you need. Everything is clean & in good order. I will be back next year. They also LOVE the dogs.

During a trip through a heat wave through Oklahoma our vehicle broke down leaving my husband two dogs and myself with multiple heat related issues.
The wrecker driver brought us here to cool off, get much needed rest.
The staff was awesome from the front desk to laundry.
I can't thank them enough for making sure we were ok, for answering questions and helping us out.
Good things still happen in America and motel 6 here in Elk City, Oklahoma is one of those places!

Very happy we chose to stay here. Traveling on motorcycles, front desk lest us park them by front window so they could keep an eye on them. I’m insulin dependent. The person that checked us in assisted on getting my ice packs froze again. Plus had one that fit my cooler well and donated it to me. Everyone here has been really nice. They’re trying to keep the old building in good condition. The sheets and towels were clean.

The rooms were nice, but the area around the property wasnt great.

My husband and I were traveling from Georgia to New Mexico with our two Great Pyrenees and needed a pet friendly place to stay for the night.  First, when we arrived, we were met by the Debbie at the front desk.  She was super friendly and helpful, and made our check in process super quick and easy.  Let me say she is truly an ambassador for Motel 6!  Our room was clean and quiet and everything we needed for an overnight stay.  My husband and I will definitely stay here again when we travel back this way in the spring.  And I hope Debbie is still there keeping the lights on for us when we come back - it's always nice to have a friendly face waiting for you after a long day in the car!  Thank you Motel 6 for a wonderful stay.

Great service  Terrible room

This is an older motel.  for the price, it was adequate for a 1 night's stay.  Room was clean.  Bed average for Motel 6.  There were stains on the bedspread, but ssheets were clean.   Quiet,   Great water pressure in the shower - probably the best thing going after a long day's drive from Cuba, NM.    Would stay again.

OK for the price - nothing fancy.

Great stay, wonderful staff and very budget friendly!

Easy access off Interstate I-40 and close to gas station and convenience store although there are no places to eat which are close to this property. An older Motel 6, the rooms themselves have been renovated and are definitely spacious. The property itself appears to be in need of a bit of updating to bring it in line with many of the Motel 6 properties I have stayed at over the past number of years. Wi-fi is complimentary although one has to have their own shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer if required which in itself is not a big deal. The staff were friendly and accommodating and took the time to "educate" me on the weather on arrival which included a potential tornado.

The staff was exceptionally nice and pleasing.  The front desk clerk Debbie was awesome and made me feel like I was at home.  Thank you Ms Debbie for being the wonderful person that you are.  Because of her; whenever I visit Elk City again I will be staying at the Motel 6 in hopes to see and talk to Ms. Debbie.  The plants at the front desk were beautiful and made the place really feel homely.
