Nice one-bedroom unit very close to town.  Loved the pool and used as a hub to Mesa Verde.  The loft was great for kids to sleep in.  Nothing to complain about as the unit had all necessary amenities.  Would highly recommend for the price.

Nice place to relax in Durango

Apartment-Hotel comfortable, spacious, very well equipped. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room, a large kitchen. All the laundry is included. The kitchen has everything you need. Well located in Durango. 5 minutes drive from downtown, near Lewis College. A few comments to make on the service. On the reservation it was asked to arrive before 6pm. What we did. We were there at 5pm. But no one. Just a sign on the front door with a number that does not answer. Happily, one of the international phones had an option to be able to call... After several calls, we were told that the key was in an envelope in a box. So we arrived a lot later. We arrived at the door. Then we were told that there was no explanation. Then we were there at 5pm. But the reservation was not done for 8 days, but all of us were on the doorstep for the first time. So we all heard that the room was open for 8 hours, but then all of us came back to the room, and then all of us came back to the room at 8am.

Comfortable Hotel Apartment, service to improve

We came yesterday about 5:15 Pm. Office was closed.  No instruction send to us how to check in.  It took 1 hour (after contacting Air B $B) then host contacted us by phone.  It was not shown in the photo nor mentioned (during booking) that we have to climb 40 to 50 stairs to get to our place.  I have COPD and my family helped me to get there.  It was horrible.  I do not know how I am going to spend two more days here.  In the morning I woke up and found toilet is not working.  It is 6 am in the morning I hope I can contact some one to day to fix the toilet.  Air B $ B in the past you did gave us good service but this the worst one.  I will never, never book for this kind of Condo any more, nor I want this kind of rude host.

Very nice and lots of room. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay at the Ferringway again. Felt like a nice home away from home. The place was clean and appeared to have been recently updated.

Wonderful Suprise

Stayed four nights in unit 48, two story unit with loft, and it was perfect! Unit is very clean and well maintained. The complex is quiet and peaceful. Thanks for a great vacation! Would definitely stay again in the future!

Perfect!

The place has an 80's retro feel to it, which seems intentional on the owners' part. The decor seems to harken back to 1986. However, some people may enjoy that sort of retro experience. The place is comfortable and clean, and the residents were friendly and hospitable. It has nice views of the mountains, and it is only 5 minutes from the city center. We stayed in Durango to ride the train, and we were there on a straight shot. I will recommend the place....but a refurbishment and remodeling should be in the near future.

Kinda dated, but still comfortable and convenie

From start to finish, will not stay here again.  Check-in is at 4pm.  My travel party got there at 5 minutes after 5pm and office was closed.   Had to drive to a different location on property and retrieve my own keys, and locate our rented condo.  We let ourselves in and were pretty disappointed.  Our party consisted of 2 adult couples and the second bedroom had 2 twin beds. We reserved the Drake condo and nowhere on the site where I booked was I led to believe it would be anything BUT a queen size bed in each bedroom.  I gave the other couple the master since I booked this condo.  The other couple refused to even use the shower in the master bathroom, it was so gross.  Beyond that, the living room furniture was very well worn and a vaccuum was just left in the hallway.   (petty complaint, but c'mon)

It's a nice experience like living in an American house. A little decentralized even though it's only 5 minutes away by car. I found the apartment very nice and very comfortable. We were at the 26th and I absolutely recommend it, because when it seems not all the accommodations are the same. The only thing is that it's on the second floor and inside there are two rooms, one of which is upstairs with a shovel. This apartment I found clean, tastefully furnished and complete with everything. Even a super-accessory kitchen.

This hotel rents private apartments at night. The problem is that the residence is centrally located in the suburbs of the city and not easy to find and then the reception desk is closed after 7 p.m. So we found the door closed when we arrived in the evening. No one answered the phone number supposedly able to help us. Fortunately we were curious to read a document locked on the school office door explaining that we could find our keys in an envelope placed in a box (accessible to all...) located a few meters away. The residence looks like an improved HLM, the furniture is improperly furnished and the bunk is bad.
