Definitely  better than a hotel. Convenient location near Nashville. This is not your typical hoity toity bed and breakfast, this is come in and make yourself at home. Spacious rooms, comfy bed, great breakfast and lovely curator. We enjoyed a wonderful visit. They shared history, gave great recommendations and seemed genuinely excited for our trip. They have numerous options for your accommodation, we chose the Johnson room, loved the huge tub after a long day. 

Everything was perfect. We stayed here for our son's wedding and rented the whole place. There are too many wonderful things about this B+B to list !! The hosts Martha and Melody did everything to make everyone's stay the best. If you are coming to this area staying here is a must.

We stayed for four days at the East Hills Bed and Breakfast in Dickson, TN this past week. The hosts were amazing and our stay was so fun! The barn was well-appointed and we had delicious breakfasts each day. Mrs. Martha and Mrs. Melody were fantastic and a treasure-trove of information about the area. We will stay again when we can!

I love it here! I came here back in Nov. of 2010 getting ready for my wedding and loved it. They made my stay wonderful and I felt blessed to be there. Now my husband and I came here just this past weekend and it has never changed. The serene, peaceful area inside and out made our stay wonderful. The couple of the house are always welcoming and pleasant, the ladies who work there were very nice and accommodating.  The fine dining experience during breakfast was wonderful. The whole experience was wonderful! This is the place we will be returning to when we are needing a place to stay. Thank you!

John and Anita could not be more welcoming hosts in this old style B+B in Dickson near Nashville. Breakfasts are typical Southern style, and served pretty much any time you want. In addition to rooms in the house there are a couple of cottages and a converted barn in which to stay, surrounded by trees and informal gardens. All is very clean, and the cottages have full self catering facilities too. The town and shops are easily walkable (mind the traffic!). I can imagine a great getaway for large family groups, or just a lovely quiet retreat for just about anybody. Total recommendation.

I don't normally "do" B&B's but this one was set up for me. It was extra nice. I enjoyed every aspect of it. Beautiful, extra clean and very very nice people. The food was enjoyable too. You'll be glad you stayed.

What a charming B&B!  We stayed in the Lovell cottage and everything was perfect.  John and Anita Luther, our hosts, are very personable and charming.  John, who operated a restaurant in Dickson for 35 years, is always accommodating.  The breakfast was outstanding: fresh fruit, coffee/tea/juice, eggs, bacon, amazingly good waffles and more.

Anita and John Luther are gracious hosts in this lovely B & B in Dickson.   It is so quiet you get a great nights sleep!  Once you are up in morning there is great coffee, a wonderful selection of teas and the Luther's will accommodate your schedule for breakfast.  I have been there twice for business and my breakfast was ready when I requested it.  There is so much to eat, you better make sure you are not in a hurry!  It is so nice to find such a nice place to stay that is warm and welcoming.  I travel several days a month and look forward to staying at places like East Hills B & B versus the hotel chains.

I stayed here about 10 years ago and was sorry to learn that the wonderful host couple had passed away several years ago.  However their daughter and their friend have taken over and no one could have been more thoughtful and helpful.  I was having car trouble and they even gave us a ride to dinner and came back to pick us up!  Above and beyond.  If you're looking for a traditional older property, this may be just the right place for you.
