Very clean, amazing view and easy walking to shops and restaurants. Depoe Bay is a beautiful, unique and quaint Oregon Coastal town not to be missed.❣️

This is our second time staying here and we loved it.  We did have issues with some noisy people above us, but the front desk took care of it.

We stay at this property at least once per year, every room we’ve ever stayed in has had a good view of Depoe Bay. We will be back again soon to enjoy a relaxing weekend by the bay whale watching.

Fire place didn’t work, but everything else was great

This is our go to hotel for winter whale watching. We love the location, view from the third floor deck, and the friend and helpful staff. We can also leave our car in the lot and walk to all the shops and restaurants on the main stretch of 101 south of the hotel.

This property was pretty nice for the price! It was walkable to bars and a wonderful restaurant across the street. The room I was in for the first 2 nights was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room I was in for the last night was not quite as nice/clean. The bed was not as comfortable either. The water took forever to get warm as well, I was worried I didn’t have any hot water. But the staff was very friendly and nice and I would definitely stay with them again!

Lovely view from our room. Front desk customer rep. was very friendly and hospitable. Perhaps, it was a communication error, but upon returning back from our sight-seeingafternoon, room service was not completed. We only received clean towels. First visit to Depoe Bay and even on our final night,after suffering a broken leg from a fall in town, we just may visit again.

First time

Stayed for several days and really enjoyed the view of the bay. The beds were SO HARD, it was uncomfortable after the first night. The check in person was super friendly and helpful, which made up for the bed situation. The highlight was being able to sit on the balcony in the evening and watch for whales in the bay.

Whether watching the tides or whales, the view of the rocks, trees, and ocean are dramatic and beautiful. This motel is also a gem in terms of service, location, and amenities. It was easy to stay there. The walk to the center of town was just the right length for us as older people, giving us access to the Whale Watch Center, coffee, food, and beer. We love it.

Perfect View

Check in was very easy and quick, the appearance of the building and surroundings was nice but when we walked in the room, we had an absolutely fantastic view of the ocean. Had a beautiful fireplace. It was really a lovely room, and the price was terrific! You won’t be sorry if you stay here.  The price is right. 

Room with a Great View

Stopped here on our way home from a much longer trip to unwind and enjoy the ocean. This was our 4th time staying here over the years. The hotel has recently been updated and was really clean and nice. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was well apointed, frig, microwave, big TV, and awesome view of the ocean. The staff was kind and helpfull. Being righ on the Coast Highway it is so easy to use a a base of operations. Restaurants, shops, and activities very close by.

Nicely updated.

We stayed in January for the King Tides. I was a little annoyed that they changed our room when I booked an ocean view room.. the ocean was behind a couple of trees… fortunately we were only staying one night so it didn’t matter that much. The floor was covered in sand 🙃. Other then those things they had great parking, friendly staff, a fireplace, clean, and a modern decor.

First off Kudos to the manager Joann. What a sweet helpful person.  We love Depot Bay our fav!  this hotel is all updated. No Carpet just tile and vinyl. Our room is spacious and very clean.  We are on 3rd floor #309 great views from our deck, 2 queen beds. Large bathroom and plenty of storage and computer desk plus there is elevator and luggage cart.  Which is a must for us we are in our 70's.  Yes there is a lot of street traffic but is not an issue for us.  Large parking lot and Tidal Raves restaurant is right across the street. also small public park across street.  Yes we would definitely stay here again!!!
