The hotel was clean and convenient for a layover!  Easy, quick check-in.  The shuttle service was perfect!  The driver was friendly and had a great attitude.  They gave easy instructions for the shuttle pick up.

Omg- the staff was so amazing. They were very helpful and patient when i kept calling about how to find the shuttle area and to ask for update on when the shuttle was coming because it was almost midnight when i got to Denver. Also, after i checked out i went back to the airport to hop on another flight and realized i left my throw blanket in my hotel room. I get really cold on the plane so it was important to me so i called the ladies at the hotel. They found my blanket and had the shuttle driver bring it to me so i wouldn't miss my flight. I had a big job to get home to so i appreciated this so much. Thank you guys!

Denver Overnight Layover- missing blankie

Not enough good things to say about this hotel. The airport shuttle is a limo party bus, the drivers are super friendly, the hotel staff is helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the two jacuzzis are different temps so you can decide which you want, AND there’s a marijuana dispensary and 7/11 in the parking lot. Highly recommend!!

Definitely staying here again

There are so very many things wrong with this place. I really should have spent the extra money and stayed anywhere else. First stop, the front desk, the “ladies” at the desk were rude and apathetic from the start. I asked for directions to the restrooms because with her 6 inch nails check in was taking forever (so gross) and she handed me KEYS IN A PANDEMIC. And by handed I mean she tossed them through the plexiglass, also, none of the staff were wearing mask. So the keys fell apart and I had to play guess the which keys opens the bathroom door, super fun. I get back to the front desk and she’s still checking me in. Great. Finally I am assigned a room. I get there, it seems fine, pop outside for some air and when I return I realize my door doesn’t lock. AT. ALL. I call the front desk and she says she’ll send maintenance up right away. After waiting about 20 mins I called again and she was really rude and told me I was “lucky” because it was 5:30 on a Sunday and their maintenance guy was still there. I asked her to change my room, she didn’t want to because they have a “housekeeping shortage”... great information in a pandemic, super cool. FINALLY I GET A ROOM WITH A WORKING LOCK only to be placed next to the loudest family in the world (back to them later) who love nothing more than smoking blunts and yelling at their kids. 
Perfect.
Heads up, there is a dispensary right next door so everyone is smoking weed in the hotel. 
Next the pool- I didn’t swim because some entitled hippy couple decided to put their baby in the pool in a dirty disposable diaper, i was like.. that’s against health code and you should get a swim diaper (and it’s super dangerous) and they were like “we don’t even know what that is” of course you don’t, moonbeam 🙄.

At this point I just went to my room and went to sleep (which would have been better if I didn’t wake up to the sounds of child abuse next door, I’m pretty sure this lady threw her four year old across the the room) then she left this poor screaming kid in the hallway at 7:30 am. It was so disgusting. 
The television makes a Terrible buzzing noise, it’s rundown, the internet is spotty at best, there is no quality anywhere and it’s a Petri dish. Do not stay here! 
Also still waiting for the 100 to go back on my card. After seeing what thieves and liars they are I’ll be keeping an eye on that. I wish I could get a charge back. Worst hotel stay of my life.

NIGHTMARE ON WEED STREET

I went to the Wyndham website to make a reservation and it suggested contacting specific properties to see if their service offerings were affected by CV-19. So I did just that.

On Friday 20 March I called the DIA AmericInn to inquire if rooms and amenities were available. Yes, no problem but the rate I had gotten from the Wyndham website could not be honored so I had to go back to the site to make the 24 March reservation.

We were exhausted from 2 days of bus and airline travel in Mx and were looking forward to relaxing in the pool, hot tub, and enjoying morning breakfast before continuing our journey home to MN. 

We arrived at AmericInn to discover all amenities had, apparently, been shut down by order of Denver's mayor. If the guy I talked with Friday had mentioned that we would have easily sought out other accommodations outside of Denver and on our way home. At the time we arrived and were standing in the hotel lobby learning this we were on the hook to pay for the night with no price reduction for reduced services. 

Ironically, breakfast items like cereal, fruit, juices, microwave stuff, appeared to be available for sale at 2-3 times convenience store prices instead being provided gratis in the interest of maintaining customer goodwill instead of coming across as deceitful and predatory.

No Amenities

Why are old-school mouse traps in the rooms? My 3-year-old picked one up and I got it from her before it went off. Three seconds after I set it down, it went off. My kid could have gotten her fingers broken.  I took it to the front desk where the employee apologized and said she would let her manager know. I assume there is some type of corporate policy against those traps or at least require a warning.  Families stay in hotels all the time and if there is anything dangerous a child can access, there should be a warning. 

After contacting Wyndham Properties through its website, to follow up on my concern, the corporate offices let me know the property management would be contacting me within a week.  That never happened and the week they had to respond was prior to Covid 19 restrictions, so they can’t use that as an excuse for ignoring this issue.  I held off writing a review to give the property ample time to respond, yet it has been ignored.  Everybody makes mistakes, but own and address them.

Families of children beware!

If there was a button that could shut down this place, I'd press it.  I stayed for one night, checked in at 11:30 pm because of an accidental layover. The whole place smelled like weed.  I left at 5:00 am on their shuttle, that was late.  The next dat they charged a $350 smoking fee, twice.  My bank assumed it was fraud so they declined the second one.  They have since charged an additional 4 charges ($100, $100, $50, $50).  I have called every day for the last week and only hear "there's no managers here and we will give them the message  Never a call, nothing.  And the person behind the desk who answers the phone hangs up every time she hears that its me.  I will spend every day dealing with this until it's figured out but I have never seen such blatant disregard and disrespect for both the military personnel who stay there, and for people who call in about legitimate concerns.  I'd rather sleep on the street.

NEVER STAY HERE- THIEFS and LIARS

The smell of cannabis filled the hallways and leaked into my room. Not surprising to see a hemptuary directly next door to the hotel. Wish I would have known this prior. 

Guest room’s carpet was wet almost throughout and both beds’ bedding was visibly stained. Heater/AC’ fan was not adjustable. 

Would NOT recommend this property to anyone. 

Don’t stay here

The room was reasonably priced and the room was comfortable and exceptionally clean.  The towels in fancy fans were a nice touch.  We had a 5 a.m. flight so we didn't get to experience the breakfast.  I would stay again.

Great Stay and Great Price

Waited at airport for an hour and a half before I finally decided to just uber (called multiple times and front desk girl kept hanging up on me) 
Found hairs and crumbs in my bed and when asked for a change of sheets it took 3 hours and they simply handed me the sheets and left me with the dirty ones. Shower did not work, tub did work but there was nothing to plug the drain. Toilet would not fully flush unless you tried 3-4 times. 
Spend the extra $20 and stay somewhere else.
