We stayed at the Mansion at Red Hill on our way to visit the Poverty Point World Heritage site. The Mansion is first-class. It is a relatively new facility with only a few rooms. It is located on a large landscaped tract of land with ponds and horse stables. It is truly magnificent. Eva, the innkeeper, was most gracious and attentive. The breakfast was very good and Eva was wonderful company. Due to approaching storms, Eva assisted us spending another night. The visit was most enjoyable.
