Great stay! Very clean, quiet and safe. Very cozy and enjoyable stay, would highly recommend!

Great little place to stay in Deadwood. Very clean, quiet and affordable! Beds were comfy, nice parking available behind the hotel. The trolley stop was conveniently located right by the hotel to take us downtown. Coffee pot in the room and also coffee, doughnuts, and granola bars in the office in the morning.

One of the Nicest place I’ve ever stayed. It’s very quite. I would consider a nice place to be. People are super friendly and deadwood is super nice. You should definitely book this room at this Cedarwood inn

Great location! Quiet area, free parking, and only a short walk to the Main Street in Deadwood. The Mickelson Trail is also within walking distance, as well as restaurants and coffee shops. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and provided lots of recommendations.

This motel was a gem! It was quaint, clean and quiet.  We didn't interact with any staff due to late check-in but based on the property I know they were likely delightful! Our room was very clean, cool, and quiet. Didn't get a chance to play cards in the beautiful courtyard as the tables were all taken but we played in our room and had a great time.

Great place to stay!

This an older motel that has been nicely remodeled. Rooms are small but nicely decorated. Facility manager is excellent; friendly and helpful. A Deadwood Trolley makes for easy access to the Main Street attractions. Trolly stop is right next door to the Motel. There is no breakfast but a restaurant is just 2 houses from the hotel; easy walking distance. Restaurant prices are very reasonable.

When I went to book a room on expedia the Cedar Wood Inn was considerably less expensive than most. It had a high rating so I decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did.  It was clean, comfortable, and extremely friendly. It isn't a "modern" property but I  would recommend it highly and plan to stay again when I go back.

The property is old and rooms are small and have had some renos .They are very clean.  There is no services ei housekeeping or onsite staff after 4 or 5 in the afternoon. If you need something or need to ask anything, best to do that before they leave.  We went looking for ice after supper and were told it was in the office.  There are stairs to the second floor.  We were not totally convinced the old keys on a tag were sufficient enough to keep any intruders out.  The key was for the door knob and not the deadbold.  The outside is well kept and there are lots of seating areas.  It was quite all 3 nights we were there.  This is the second stay here for us and it was fine for the small amount of time we spent in these basic rooms.  The staff is friendly and welcoming .

Old hotel that has been renovated and has a cute small town vibe. Little details like plush towels are nice. The owner is funny, helpful and great to talk with. Office hours are limited with “grab and go” breakfast starting later than my schedule. Owner will accommodate and let us get breakfast items the evening before we left. Just ask for what you need. Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it.

Great place to stay. Rooms were great! We came to deadwood for a weekend trip with friends and family and could have been more pleased with our choice of where to stay. The office manager was absolutely amazing! Helped with check in after office hours. Would highly recommend this place if your looking for somewhere a little off the main strip. Quiet, relaxing place to stay.

The Room was better than the Hyatt Regency we has stayed in just a few days in Iowa City Iowa.My Wife only had one small issue and that was not any clothing hooks or towel hooks in the bath room.I only found one problem and that was the individuals who stayed in the room had obviously opened up a new shirt and left the pins in the long carpet that were very hard to see and they ended up in my service dogs foot.No big deal. I removed them and he is fine.
