The hotel room was very clean,  I had a great time.  Would definitely go back..🙂🙂 I will be traveling soon   and will definitely rebook . Barbara is the owner she was very helpful. I have visited New Orleans countless times over the years and I refuse to stay anywhere else but Storyville Hotel. The price is greatly affordable and the location is perfect for anyone looking to have a true New Orleans experience. In addition to its uniquely themed colors/decor, each room is clean and equipped to meet every need that one could possibly have. The grounds are safe and the customer service is excellent. Barbara, the owner, is responsive, kind & very accommodating. She is committed to making sure I am comfortable whilst I am there and most importantly, that I have a good time! Every time I stay, it feels like I am staying with family & friends. That’s the Storyville experience!!

A beautiful and unique place close to the French Quarter and Frenchman street

First time using Air BnB and husbands first time in NOLA. We went a few days for my birthday. This little cozy spot is PERFECT for a stay in New Orleans. Excellent price and can not beat the location. We walked to the Quarter from here everyday and night. Always felt safe and comfortable and the room was precious. We got an up grade to the King suit and it was right next door to patio. Eat at Buffas down the street and there is a little market across the street for drinks and eats. Will defiantly stay here on our next trip. Thanks Barbra!

We’ve visited New Orleans 3 time and always make it a point to stay here. The location is perfect as it is central to the Frenchmen, Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. The venue is historic, clean and each room is spacious with a different feel. And the garden in the back is quiet and peaceful and great for quaint parties. The management is always gracious in letting us keep our luggage a little longer as we wait for our flight. Storyville is part of why we love New Orleans. ❤️ We’ll always return to this NOLA gem!

There are people who just never will be happy. This is a wonderful little Inn. All the rooms I have stayed in have had full kitchens and have been spotlessly clean as have been the halls. There is secure off street parking. Is it the Ritz Carlton with 24 hour room service? Decidedly not, It's a charming little inn located on one of the more beautiful streets in New Orleans. Frenchman St. and the Quarter are a short (maybe five or six block walk toward the river. Coffee on the balcony in the early morning was something I found just magic. Likewise evening cocktails. There is a little market just a few blocks away and several restaurant/bars (tip. Try the alligator gumbo at Buffos)

As a frequent traveller, so many hotels and inns fade into one another.  Not Hotel Storyville.  The rooms are cozy, cheerfully decorated, and spacious. There are balconies on each floor to enjoy coffee or cocktails and watch the bustle of the city go by.  The location finds you a short walk from Frenchman St. or the French Quarter.  I've felt safe making that walk at all hours of the day or night.  The owner is a real gem.  She exudes the hospitality and full-of-life attitude that the city of New Orleans possesses.  My go to spot when I'm in this city.

I love this place so much. I have stayed here twice. The first time was for my Aunts wedding two years ago. I loved it so much, I came back and brought 17 friends from Austin. Barbara is so accommodating and sweet.  The rooms are FANTASTIC with so many amenities, to the huge private court yard. Not to mention you are walking distance to so many great restaurants, parades, jazz fest, the french quarters- I could go on.  Look no further and book your stay at Hotel Storyville!

I have lived in New Orleans for four years and have driven up and down Esplanade Ave many of days. It was only recently that I discovered one of New Orleans gems tucked away in a quaint little part of town where the trees hang over the streets and the people are always ready for the next celebration. My friends were visiting from California, one of whom stayed at Hotel Storyville prior. She said, once you see it and get the vibe, you'll see why I won't stay anywhere else. When I arrived I was blown away by the decor and hospitality. I found myself taking pictures of things like the awesome "bubble chandelier" the coral reef mirror, and several other nuances that caught my eye. This was all before I even entered their room, which by the way was equally as awesome! The two bedroom that they were staying in had plenty enough room for us four girls and if that wasn't great enough there was a kitchen so that we could cook together. And when it was time to eat...we retreated to the backyard where the ambiance was so chill that I thought I was somewhere on vacation. From the hanging strings of lights, to the mermaid statues in the ponds, even the blue rocks were an added attention to detail. Did I mention the bar and large performance area that we plan to make our Karaoke debut at next go round? The whole experience just blew me away...but I mustn't leave without sharing one of the greatest discoveries....BARBARA!!! She is the owner and just a ball of love and light! She really made an effort to make sure we were all happy...can anyone say "Key Lime Pie"!!!!! Thanks Again Barbara! Not only will I recommend for my friends and family and anyone else looking for a great New Orleans home...I will book with Hotel Storyville myself, when my husband and I need to feel like we've gotten away for a bit. i.e. Staycation :) ~Gratefully, Sara B.

Keyless door lock for unit was temperamental at best; required multiple attempts to correctly lock; needs to be replaced.  NOTE all other keyless building and gate locks worked perfectly.  The resort housekeeper was very helpful.  Check in/out was very easy.  Inside the studio unit: Overall "ok" studio unit with full frig, microwave, stovetop, and most basic kitchen accessories.  Cabinet handles had/were falling off.  Kitchen counter top in bad shape.  Would have been nice to have 1 or 2 lounging chairs in addition to the dinning chairs.

Due to Covid, tourism was low and some places closed on Monday, Tuesday &/or Wednesday.  However, that minimized the need for reservations and waiting in lines.  Recommend using the NOLA public transportation app and seeing the WWII museum.

Hotel Storyville is a MUST STAY while in New Orleans!

Great location just outside of the NO Quarter

This is an urban "resort" with all its attendant street noise (dogs barking, occasional siren, loud people), and none of the site amenities one usually associates with a resort, like a pool, but it's unusual to find timeshares in the city, particularly such spacious ones with kitchen amenities. (There was a large fridge, an oven, and a microwave, no dishwasher.) It felt more like an airbmb apartment. I think many of the units are rented out like hotel rooms. It worked out well for us. It is located on a safe, well-lit, residential street near just north of the French Quarter and next to the Treme. There is a bus a few yards from the hotel that goes to the lovely City Park and down to the Central Business District (not the French Quarter). The heart of the French Quarter is just over half a mile away., and we walked there often.  Beware that if you don't have a car (and you probably don't want one in New Orleans though parking is available for guests for a small fee), there are no well-stocked grocery stores anywhere nearby (Bring your own coffee filters). We found a few breakfast type foods and snacks but not what we normally would have bought. (The Orange Store three blocks away has great subs.) We only had phone and text contact with staff and owner. You get into the unit via lock boxes. We were told we should have confirmed our reservation 48 hours ahead of time, but we've never had to do that before with a timeshare. Also, there wasn't any information in the unit itself about the hotel, the unit, nearby shops and restaurants, or anything else.  We had to figure it all out by ourselves. Fortunately, we are experienced travelers, but it would have been nice to get a few hints. Overall, staying there was a good experience that allowed us to get away from the urban hubbub after a busy day.
