The hotel is easy to find, nice staff and clean room.

Very clean room my boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights, subsequently made a mess on both beds. Will be back again!

My stay was fine. The only problem not explained to me was Ten Dollars more for a non smoking room. I was not amused !!!

The owners were very accomodating when I wanted a room near the lobby. I felt safe, my room was clean and well kept. Coffe was great and the owners were terribly nice. I travel to PA twice a year and I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was quiet, clean, and in a good location off the highway. Staff was easy to work with when checking in and out. The breakfast coffee definitely could be improved. For coffee, it was a 1 out of 5. Items served are good enough to get you down the road for an hour, but you will be looking to stop again for real food.

Very pleasantly surprised at the accommodations for only $89 a night. Not the nicest, but well worth the price. Highly recommend Mary’s Diner for breakfast after your stay ! It’s just down the road from the econo lodge.

We just stayed one night on our road trip and the room was comfortable and welcoming. Everything in the room worked and we had a great stay.

Continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Very bare bones.

No frills but clean. The chair was a bit used and needed replacing, but the rest of my room looked like it had been redecorated recently.  I did not have to pay extra for nonsmoking. The rooms all come with a fridge and microwave, which was an unexpected surprise. If you want something a little more upscale, look elsewhere. If you want a reasonably priced, clean place to spend the night, this is for you.

We stayed just one night on a road trip. The hotel was easy to find with a gps, and the bed was comfy. It had a microwave and refrigerator which was a plus. The continental breakfast was a nice little snack to eat, but since we were snowboarding we stopped at a restaurant to supplement it. Everything was clean and worked well.

Nice comfortable no frills place

The manger are nice and effective.If you are staying at Room #107, be sure to check the bathtub to see if the drain is draining properly because when I took shower, the water didn't drain well. It's clotted. Happens on 5/27 and 5/28. I left a note to the housekeeper about it. If they didn't clear the drain pipe, then you know that the job has not been met.

Simple and effective for night stays.

I stayed at the Econo Lodge Hazelton North entirely based on how close it is to the highway. It was halfway between 2 points for me and the most reasonably priced hotel I found. The desk staff was very helpful, the room was very clean, and loved the "warming lights" in the bathroom/shower area, and found the bathroom larger than most hotels at the 2 star range. Free continental breakfast to get me started in the morning, and everything worked in the room; tv, alarm clock and the water pressure was great in the shower. I found the water in the sink took a little bit longer to warm up, but it did eventually get hot when I needed it. Would definitely stay here again for a stopover. I don't think there's much in the area in terms of making it a destination, but completely acceptable as a hotel at a very good price. There was also a fridge and a microwave in the room, which was an added bonus although I didnt really take advantage of it. 't looks like there had been some renovations and one of the pieces of furniture in the room had some drill holes in it as maybe a tv or something used to be screwed to the top of it. It certainly didn't bother me, but maybe if you need a super duper pristine room that might change your mind.
