My room was comfortable ,clean maids we're very nice ,front desk people were also nice the price is really good I recommend staying here I will most definitely come back here if I stay in this area 😃

I use Motel 6 primarily because of their pet policy which means my dog is allowed and free. But this one is in slightly rough condition. It started with the front door of the office which would not stay closed in a cold wind so they had a wash cloth jammed in the door frame to hold it closed. I noticed the pool was empty with loads of junk furniture piled in the pool area. The sink in my room was cracked and they did not leave us enough toilet paper so I had to go to the office for more. But the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the water was hot so nothing to really complain about for a price after all fees and taxes of less than $60 a night including my dog made it okay. Also, we got a 10% discount on the Denny's restaurant on site. This motel does not have a free breakfast but with my discount I got two eggs, two pieces of bacon, and two pancakes for $3.60

Could use some maintenance

If I could give this a zero rating, I would. My family and I had to travel to Cordele from Florida due to my father’s death while he was traveling. We needed to stay two nights while waiting for his remains to be released to us. If it weren’t for the fact that my aunt booked the rooms for us, I would have turned around and left. First of all, the rooms were supposed to be non-smoking. It definitely did NOT smell like it. There was a very strong smoke smell in both rooms. My brother has asthma so he was coughing and wheezing the whole time because of it. When I walked into my room, the first thing I saw was a cockroach skittering across the wall. Yuck! There was no table, just a desk/dresser and only a single chair. We had to sit on the beds or the uncomfortable chair. It was obvious the floor had not been swept or mopped in quite sometime since just walking from the bed to the bathroom left our feet black. We mentioned this to the lady at the front desk and she said she would mention it to housekeeping. Nobody from housekeeping came to clean the floors. They didn’t even sweep it. Our second night there, we asked the front desk for towels because they had picked them up earlier in the day but hadn’t given us new ones. We were told there were NO towels available at the hotel. Um...what? Never heard that one before. Then in the morning, well before check out time, the door opened and the housekeeper tried to come in the room. We hadn’t checked out yet and still had plenty of time. I definitely did not appreciate that. We explained that we were still getting ready and packing our things up. The lady flounced off and then glared at us every time she walked by the window. The only plus side to the whole stay was the comfortable bed and decent price. I would have much rather paid a little more and stayed at the Ramada across the street. Stay here only if you’re desperate.

A lousy stay during a difficult time

We arrived for a single night selecting Motel 6 cuz it is pet friendly chain. Even our dog didn’t want to stay. A non smoking room had an ashtray! And smelled of stale heavy smoking.  We had other car issues so could not leave but would have done so otherwise. Tub old and worn to filthy, floor slimy (walked on towels) bed firm but afraid of bugs so slept in clothes quiet but creepy. Decor non existent slap of half a coat of paint. SO CREEPY!  Unless desperate go elsewhere. 
Had breakfast at Denny’s next door and our waitress said she thought it was condemned!!!  I agree it should be!

Saw better days in the 60’s

I'm going to leave a non-biased in-depth consumer review but if you want it in SHORT.. staying here should be a LAST RESORT OPTION to lay your weary head as a traveler no matter your job, wealth or creed. If you want to know why in well stated but short words Ive detailed below.

Lacking in pest control (bugs in room)
Lacking in upkeep (heavily deteriorating rooms and building)
Far outdated fixings and furniture (pre 2000)
Lacking in protocol (friends of manager smoking in non-smoking rooms, this is also a health hazard)
Severely lacking in room cleanliness (dirt, grit, blood, hairs, unclean linens, stickiness and smell)
Lacking in comfort (general vibe and hospitality)
Lacking as a business (owner/manager may respond with false pretenses but does not care about return business and is completely unprofessional)
The whole thing is just lacking overall and if this were out of 10 itd be a 1 because I didnt have to sleep in my car for 4 hours.

We arrive at 11pm after a long drive on I75 Just wanted somewhere to sleep.
Front door is locked I presume it has something to do with the neighborhood and loiterers. Ring dodgy door bell. Girl at front office seems nice enough. She books my wife and kids and I into non-smoking room 242. 

We drive around back to trainyard/trash yard and walk upto room. Go to slide in key and a dog starts to bark inside our room. "Jeff" opens the door hotbox style with pall mall hangin out of his mouth asking what he can do for me. We stand there confused for a minute. Head back to office. Ring dodgy door bell again. Tell girl about issue. She texts "Sunil" her manager. Standing there confused for 5 minutes she looks at me and says "sorry about that ill get you another room" .. ok.. I asked what had happened. Apparently the guy in our room was a friend of the owner and he was moved two days ago and staff wasnt notified.. ok.. we head to new room. 

Walk in, smells like cigarette and musk. Room has delapitated carpentry, masonry, flooring, electrical, paint and general upkeep. 
Sticky and dirty floors, tree spider on window to left, 1998 television (with reception and channel selection to match), 1988 telephone, 1978 furniture?. Go to lay in bed, 3 pillows for 4 people. Pubic hairs on bed. This point we're too tired and too cold to whine. Brush pubic hairs off and leave clothes on to sleep. We wake up to spider under sons pillow. Didnt shower due to the condition of the bathroom. We had all had enough so went to check out. 

Head to front office and ask for refund or atleast a partial. Was told that wasnt possible without managers approval (guessed that before I'd asked) left my number for manager Sunil and was told he'd contact me later that day. Have not heard back since and dont think I will. This is the kind of hotel that does not have return customers. Staying in hundreds of hotels I understand the practices. And this is what I call a hustle and go hotel. It is used for workers, truck drivers, prostitutes, drug dealers and tired travelers with no other available hotels on short notice. They will take your money and your bad review with a stride and all you get in return is a lumpy bed and a bad taste in your mouth. In short, I will never stay here again and because of this experience will not be staying with motel 6 again.

Heed these words LAST RESORT

There was no hot water at all for a shower. I stayed in room 136 from 9/28 to 9/29-I woke up in the very early morning hours for a 9 hour trip ahead of me and to not be able to get a shower was not ideal. Right now this place is trying to just stay open from the looks of it. There are numerous other hotels in the area-this was not worth the stay.

NO HOT WATER

Room was so damp the floor was sweating. The place only had a handful of people staying - can't believe this was one of the better rooms. I stay at this chain because they accept pets but I won't stay at this one again.

Mildew

There was no fridge or mirowave..said I had to pay extra for that...key never worked. It was a big deal to get service when eating chips were more important...do not stay here..high prices poor poor service..called cooperate they did nothing...sorry people
