Very spacious and comfortable room. Managed to get a reduced rate deal at $110 per night for a double room for 2 people.

Great place to stay on the way to Wrangell-St. Elias national park. Clean, fast wifi, with restaurants on site making it easy to find something to eat in this remote part of Alaska. Property is owned by Princess Cruises but guests do not have to be part of the cruise in order to stay here. Tip: Book directly with Kennicott Shuttle if trying to take a day trip to visit the national park. Princess offers the same excursion, but charges more and uses the exact same company.

Extremely beautiful location, most comfortable bedding, state of the art facilities, friendly and efficient staff. This is a modern version of historical “ Paradise Inn”, just better run and fancier with breathtakingly beautiful surroundings

Very updated and clean facility. Staff friendly and efficient.

The little shop was convenient.  Two restaurants, limited choices, but food was good.

Our only luxury accommodation we had in our one-week vacation in Alaska. It was a nice way to begin.

Our stay was nice as far as facilities and grounds are concerned.  The food was really disappointing. One of us had the salmon dinner and the rice side was over cooked and tasteless while the salmon portion was quite small for the price charged.  One of us had the cheese burger dinner which should have been easy to do.  However, the bread was dry and they only put a small spot of dressing on the bread.

Absolutely beautiful location.  However, when we checked in we were offered zero information on amenities, activities, or dining.  We wandered around the place and ate at the bar.  Our server, a younger dark haired tall gentleman (with some tattoos), was just perfect.  We witnessed the other server high pressure selling everything he could from more drinks to dessert and felt like that was annoying just to be in earshot of it.  He was loud.  But we loved our server and I think he should be in management.  All in all except for our server I felt like with the other staff that we didn’t exist.  The hotel is located in a pretty spot.  Watch out for the frost heave driving up!  Also that hill must be fun in the winter.  We also ran into quite a lot of hungry mosquitoes on the little nature trail, so be prepared for that.

Good place to stop for the night. Easy parking and beautiful surroundings. The staff was very helpful, they offered to call us if the aurora occured and the restaurant downstairs accommodated us for last minute food before closing. The Irish coffee at the bar was really good. There is a nice place to sit at outside that is well taken care of. A complementary nature walk was available in the afternoon. The room was sufficient, although it was time for one of the mattresses to be replaced as it had lost its shape.

It was in a lovely setting! The shared spaces were very nice and well kept up. We booked through Expedia so I think we were given an older, handicapped equipped, room. (I queen bed and 1 single bed!?) The room was clean but the beds were poorly made (bed skirt tucked up under mattress) and there was no fridge. For the cost. It was a very spare room.

We booked this property on our own, not as part of a Princess Cruisetour. It seemed to be the only full-service hotel for many miles, and we had a great experience. Our room was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from the lobby, back seating area, and restaurant is spectacular. There are walking paths on the property that we enjoyed, and the food service staff was very accommodating. We ate a breakfast and a dinner there--both were tasty.

Nice place to stay.  We were visiting with relatives in the area and were happy to spend the night here.  The GPS wanted us to go to the wrong side of the highway, but we saw the Princess Wilderness Lodge sign and found the place fine.  Nice views after short walks.We debated paying $10 to see the aurora movie, but were glad we did.  The movie with the 3-wide screen was very good and we appreciated being able to enjoy the producers 30 years of capturing excellent photos.

Nice Place to Stay

Traveling from talkeetna to Valdez we needed a place to stay in between. We were not sure what the wilderness lodge has to offer and we were pleasantly surprised!! It seems to be in the middle of nowhere but it sits upon a beautiful lookout of the valley and mountains below. Service and staff are excellent. Food was very good and waitress was efficient. Highly recommend staying here if in the area. There is nothing around for about 10 miles so come prepared with that in mind

Some of our family stayed two nights in two rooms here.  We really like staying here (2nd time).  The scenery, walking paths, outdoor seating and telescope viewing are great.  Our rooms were clean, plenty of towels, comfortable beds and good coffee.  The shower was hot and nice.  There’s a ceiling fan and windows open but it can be a little hot without air conditioning.  It was quite warm while we visited so we left the windows open.  We used the coin operated laundry, $1.50 each for washing and drying.  Very nice seating upstairs and down for room away from hotel room.  Nice gift shop on-site.  We paid $20 each to watch an excellent movie in theatre room on the northern lights.  We ate dinner in the smaller restaurant, good food.  We also drove to the Copper Center Inn for next dinner and that was also good.  This is a great place to stay if you want to spend a whole day in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.

Great location between Valdez and Tok, Delta Junct

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the lodge.  The beds were comfortable and everything was decorated nicely.  The lodge itself was beautiful and inviting.  The only issue was that it was a little cold so it wasn't as comfortable to just relax for a long period of time.  The dining was really nice with good food and good service.  Thank you for a nice vacation!
