As usual I don't even wanna leave and we have 2 home's!! Ms.Beverly and just everyone ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST!!

Ms.Beverely was amazing as usual!!! And would stall 4 ever if possible! Thanks Beverly and staff for your hospitality!

It was the most beautiful property,no traffic,no ppl in Parking lot all night like most ! Just in general I didn't want to leave!! And we own 2 homes in two states and I'm looking right now to find out if I can get discount. Or heck I don't need money but I wish I'd spoke with the nice lady about if the needed help and I'd except a room for my ppl pay, and if they were unable to do that I loved it ENOUGH I'd pay for my room while I worked! I'm not sure if corporate reads this or that wonderful amazing woman I met that worked at the front desk!?

The rooms are amazing and the property is more removed from other motels/hotels so it is less conjested and quiet.

Staff were so nice and helpful. Clean, simple room. Thank you!

Beverly was super sweet and did everything she could to make the rip great for us as well as another group who was checking in at the same time.  She made sure she got us the rooms we both were requesting and needs were met.  Sadly her housekeeper was out so she was trying to run the place and clean at the same time.  Room was in good condition. I am sorry about all the boxes and recycle I left due to a shopping trip.  Did not see a garbage/recycle bin outside to throw them.Location was a little weird, as it was located near what I guess you would call an industrial or business area.  There seemed to be another hotel close by.  It was quiet.  Roads close by were very dark and turning in was a little nerve-racking on occasion trying to get to the road the hotel was on.

The property manager is amazing. The room itself, not so much. Cobwebs in the corners and in really bad shape. However, it was quiet and served its purpose.

Staff was friendly and room was a little dated but pretty clean aside from some cobwebs here and there (the important parts-bed, bathroom, & kitchen were very clean though). For the price, it was great! We will be staying here next time we come back to Hickory.

Weekend stay

We were in town for a short family event and needed a place to sleep and eat, which this provided at a reasonable rate. The room could use some updating. There were multiple people hanging out outside who look to be living there as an actual residence rather than a hotel. A little noise but overall it took care of what we needed and we were not there all that much.

Value choice

How friendly the staff is, from the cleaning people to the manager. When we had issues with the remote control, they fixed it right away. We are planning to come back in the following weeks because I  am being treated at Catawba Medical Center, this hotel's location fits our needs it is close to the hospital.  Excellent service and good accommodation.

Well first off let me say Miss Beverly is an amazing woman. I really connected with her my first visit. The place was so secluded and quiet. You would never even know it was there. The property is maintained exceptionally well and the room was very clean. Just a quiet place where you can escape for a while.

It was nice and convenient.  I feel they need to make sure the room is cleaned better.  Need to do overhead more often for dust on cieling.  Also I had to kill a dozen what I call walking stick bugs but no more after check in.  They need to make sure things are stocked, I had to ask for toilet paper and the coffee pot was missing.You need to work on your plug sockets.  The plugs were drooping loose in the sockets.  Just need a few fixes but it really did a good job meeting my needs!

Upon entering this mini-apartment, I was pleasantly surprised on how neat, clean and cozy it was!  The living room/kitchenette was quite large.  The bathroom was immacculate with everything you needed.  Bedroom was perfect w/closet.  Most of all, the manager, Beverly, was one of the nicest people I've ever met!!  So friendly, helpful and professional.  I highly recommend this gem of a place to anyone!

The Little Hidden Gem, Tucked Away in Conover, NC

This was our third stay with Affordable Suites; and we always feel safe here, comfortable, and enjoy a good night's sleep after visiting during the day with our families.  This time, though, we noticed a few things that needed attention.  After talking with Felicity, she said to always let her know if we find something amiss, and she will attend to it immediately.  At the time of our departure, maintenance man was on his way.  We love the location...close to aforementioned families...close to restaurants...shopping...and yet "off the beaten path" as for as being away from heavy travel and too many bright lights.
Clean, comfortable rooms with no lingering odors (Who stayed in here?) and no cigarette  smoke to trigger asthma problems or allergies because prior tenants  disobeyed the "No smoking in rooms" order.   Staff is friendly & courteous & very helpful.  Look forward to our next stay!  Thanks for having us!

Steve  & Janie's  Thanksgiving weekend stay

Very friendly and helpful manager and a fairly decent place overall, but my unit was not exactly clean.  The floors were sticky, carpet stained, surfaces in the kitchen, cabinets, etc. were all sticky.  There was also trash behind the furniture in the bedroom and under tables, trash under the trash bags in the trash can, behind trash cans etc.  The space was obviously cleaned between guests, just not cleaned well. The towels and bedding were clean and comfortable. There was a small problem with drain flies - it seems like there was always one swooping around despite killing them as I saw them.  The wifi worked well, as did the TV's and cable service, although when the neighbors changed the channel, my tv channel changed, too!

An OK place

I liked the room's lay out...all 3 rooms (livingroom, bath,and bedroom) were separated, so if one was tired and the other wanted to watch tv, it made it easier. The livingroom shared it space with a small kitchen and table, which was nice. It also had a larger frig, coffee maker, toaster, micro, stove, 2 plates, bowls, glasses and silverware. The floor hadn't been  clean, neither had the bath floors and walls. The towels need softening.  Water didnt taste good.  We felt safe and the building was fairly new. The price was good also.
