Stayed here for 5 days and was comfortable here. Theres is a 24hr walmart down the road and a 24 hr gas station and plenty things to do around the area. Rooms were clean and never had any issues there. 

This is just what we needed. Staff were very helpful. Room was clean. View from our window was lovely. Couldn't fault it. Bed was comfy. Shops not too far away. Set in a lovely wooded location. Was good to have a microwave and fridge/freezer.

Had awesome time there.

Lovely outlook.

We could not find anything closer to UConn when visiting our granddaughter.  This is about 8 miles away...easy to get to.  It is a dated looking motel from the outside, but our room was immaculate, clean carpeting, bathroom small but updated, had fridge, TV, micro and wifi.  What else does one need for an overnight stay

My husband and I were visiting relatives in the area. We choose this hotel because of location and reviews. The location was perfect, but the facility was horrible A two night say was reserved. The room  had a terrible odor, the bottom sheet did not fit the bed, and was full of black hair. The heating unit had mold growing on the vent. We asked for a different room and were given a choice of two available rooms, on smaller, one bigger. The small room had the same issues as the first room. The larger room did not smell, and was cleaner. We chose that room, and the person at the front desk, then told us we would have to pay $20.00 per night additional. By this time it is all most 10:00pm. We took the room begrudgingly. FYI, there was also no amenities. Would not recommend this facility.

Horrible 

If you love roaches this is the place to stay. This was an emergency stay, paid $100 a day  for this, the phones in the room don’t work, the smell is unbearable I had to buy cleaning products, the sheets had hair on them when I complained they came to change sheets and those sheets had hair the staff proceeded to remove hair buy picking them off, hair in shower poor housekeeping. I witnessed the housekeeper fold a towel and place back on shelve that I placed on floor prior. Checked out and went to another hotel (hop river) to find out it’s worse and it’s the same owner, the pictures say it all not worth losing money, they are constantly roaming around to watch what you do and lied about coming to clean the room they really came in to see if we had any visitors, this place is not worth it at all!!

Perfect if you love roaches!

Place was a total dump. Worn carpet (complete with dead cockroach). Worn sheets and blanket. Molding missing in room. Towels were gray (they used to be white). Furniture looked like it was bought from a thrift shop. No desk to work on. Room was freezing when I checked in and took over an hour to be warm enough to get into bed. Didn't find any bedbugs but I wouldn't be surprised if I had.

Stayed one night and couldn't wait to get out!

Found bed bugs. Two of them and didn't stop to look for any more. Could not get out of that place fast enough. When we arrived to check in, the "office" is a small booth like an ATM station. No more than three or four people could stand in there at a time. You had to slide your ID card under a bulletproof plexiglass. No one was there when we arrived and we rang the bell three times. We finally had to call the main number and the girl said she'd  be right out. When she did come out she was unkempt as if just crawling out of bed. She couldn't have been more than 14 or 15. A few minutes later a young boy came out in similar fashion. It was pretty obvious to us what was going on back there! We told her we rang the bell three times and guessed it doesn't work. She said it works but she just didn't hear it because she was... And waved her hand in the air... as if I was we were supposed to know what that meant.. She literally came out within seconds of me having called her. So she was on the other side of the door. When we got to our room with two queens, we were dismayed/shocked at how dated and dark it was. Literally look like it was from the 70s, and  the rug just as old. The others in my party convinced me to stay since it was late in the evening and we were leaving early the next morning. 
After a few hours of being in the room we noticed a bed bug on the pillow. We googled it just to be sure.  When we pulled back the bed sheets, we found another. We could not pack up fast enough! We were completely grossed out.   When we went to tell them about it and request the refund, they showed no concern and hardly said anything to us. Just issued the refund, without an apology or an explanation of what they intended to do about it. Unfortunately we had to return 10 minutes later as we had left something behind. When we returned the girl was out on the deck on her cell phone and no one was even in the room checking it out or cleaning it. All we could think is they would just continue to rent it without even doing anything. We went up the road about 5 minutes and stayed at a beautiful clean Best Western. We actually took pictures of the bugs just in case they would not refund our money. Yourself a favor and keep on driving!
