We had a very nice stay. It was clean and comfortable. Pool and breakfast were great. My only negative would be not a lot of parking.

I always stay at this hotel when I come from NY to visit my parents in Lexington. Great staff, quiet, clean and spacious rooms!

I'm usually quite happy at a HIE hotel and this was no exception. The place was quiet, safe and spotless. The best part was that the rooms seem really well insulated for sound. It was very quiet, although I don't know how busy the hotel was. Breakfast was great as usual, no mob scene either, I guess it was not busy.

Clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Location seemed safe. Had laundry avail in hotel, retail locations nearby. Only nit for me was pool was a bit cooler than I like and no hot tub avail. But thats not a knock on the hotel, as water temp didn't seem to bother others.

Extremely clean, quiet and well maintained hotel. The stafg is very friendly. The housekeeping staff did an exceptional job cleaning our room daily.  The complementry breakfast changed daily and was delicious.

We stayed a couple of days to see the sights.  Our room was clean, roomy and comfortable.  The beds and pillows were a dream!  The complimentary breakfast was hearty and satisfying.  The staff was courteous and kind.  I would stay again!!!

Staff very friendly.I stayed there for my son's wedding at The Southern Oaks. When I got dressed for the wedding, I had no one to help zip me up. I called the Front Deck and the super friendly lady came right up to my room to zip me up from the back. So, thoughtful. The room was very nice and clean and breakfast was great. I made myself a bacon and egg breakfast sandwich and it was delicious since I piled it up with lots of bacon. Lol. Great place to stay if you're visiting Lexington SC as it's close to great shopping and eating places.

Holiday Inn Express is my general go to for a moderate hotel. I expect them to be clean and comfortable and to have a nice cinnamon roll. This HIE exceeds those expectations. It’s super clean. It is slightly more comfortable than any other HIE I’ve stayed in. Their cinnamon roll is the same, which is to say yummy. But the rest of the breakfast was hotter and fresher than most. The whole place feels fresh. The staff is pleasant. Like genuinely friendly.

Above Average Holiday Inn Express

We stayed here overnight Sept 8 and were very pleased. We arrived about 6:30 pm and were greeted warmly by the front desk. The person who checked us in was so nice and accommodating to my request for a 1st floor room. We stayed in room 111 which was next to the gym and we heard nothing during our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable having a lot of room. We had a couch with a coffee table and side table, desk with a chair, ottoman and an additional chair. Plenty of closet and drawer space-did need since we were only staying overnight. We had 2 queen beds, and the beds were very comfortable as was the pillows. I cannot tolerate a firm mattress, and this bed was between 6/7 on softness/firmness. Soft enough so my back and shoulders did not hurt in the morning and not so firm that there was a gap between my lower back and the bed when I lay flat on my back. I loved the pillows. The pillowcases indicate if the pillow was soft or firm. I used a firm pillow on bottom and soft on top and the combination was perfect. The bathroom was very clean and large with plenty of counter space. Bathroom supplied with Dove brand hand soap and lotion next to the sink. Shower had Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Nice walk-in shower with doors. Shower with plenty of pressure. Check-out was simple and the person at the front desk was very nice. The breakfast options were well stocked (we did not have time to eat) and the attendant was so cheerful. We come to Lexington a couple time a year and we will definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean, but there was a wash cloth with stains in the bathroom. We called the front desk and we received more wash clothes and towels within minutes. There’s plenty of restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return if we’re ever back in the area.

We loved this hotel. Easy to find, lots of things around it such as good, gas and stores if you need anything. We booked the king with extra space. It was us and our 17 year old son. Hotel was super clean and updated. The king bed was great and comfy. Unfortunately the pull out sofa bed was NOT! The mattress on it was paper thin, you could feel the metal straight through it. Plus we had to call down about bedding for it. It's not in the room, like most places we have stayed. You have to go get it from front desk. Our son ended up just sleeping on the couch. That is our biggest complaint about our stay. Checking in was a breeze, and breakfast was good. They have plenty of options, I was just sad the waffle maker was down. We will definitely stay here again.

Once we first arrived, the places, overwhelming, beautiful views, beautiful pool view. Ocean view was amazing. Regarding the unit, the floors were very dirty, the AC did not work properly, they brought us clean towels every day, and the only issue was overpriced drinks at the pool. One of the servers at the pool whose name was Yvonne was a great person and help us a lot. We would come back just because of her, her nickname is V.
