I stay here often when I'm in the area.  It has everything I need.

The clerk was helpful when someone was there.

They charged my card before i arrived. I wanted to use another card and had checked the " pay at location" box.

I like the niceness of the employees. The hallway need better vacuuming on edges.

This is exactly what I  needed.  Clean basic accommodations with vinyl floor (I have an elder dog), generous fridge, and excellent tv stations.  I was on an errand so I only needed 2 nights but didn't want to take my dog out so we stocked the fridge and relaxed.  It was great.

This was our third stay with them and we haven’t had nothing bad to say about it. I would recommend anyone to stay with them. Excellent A+++++

We have stayed at this Motel 6 many times. Thank you for cleaning up the dog area. The last time we stayed here was not good. The entire dog area was filled with poop. It made it difficult to take the dogs out to do their business. We clean up after our dogs, and I find it very sad that a lot of people don’t. One suggestion: please keep poop bags in the doggie bag area. They were currently empty and have been empty on every visit there except for in July 2023. I always keep bags in my pocket, but not everyone does. I was pleasantly surprised to see how they cleaned up the property on this visit.

The bed was terrible. I slept so bad because the bed was so uncomfortable.  Could not get the room cool even though the air conditioning was on, it only went in one direction but did not circulate properly. Terrible experience, I have not stayed at Motel 6 for many years but was trying to save a buck, never again.

The desk clerk Tom was so friendly and helpful he should be given credit where credit is due! Someone promote that man he loves where he works and has more patience than I could working in public retail but he definitely made my checking in very stress free and made this feel like a stay back at home to me. I will definitely be coming back here when I’m in town. Good customer service is highly appreciated!! God bless!

Fantastic Place for a Great Price

I spend about 45 weeks a year on the road. Most of the time I try to stay at budget friendly chains just due to the fact that as a small business owner, I like to save money. This Motel 6 is one of the cleaner ones for certain. Bryan at the front desk was extremely helpful with local recommendations for food. They are pet friendly, which is standard for a Motel 6 but if you ask for a third floor room, there are no pets up there.

Business Trip

Motel 6 continues to be one of the cleanest, most affordable options in Newport. I’ve stayed at this property multiple times and I’m always impressed. Clean rooms with hard floors (no nasty carpets), friendly staff (Kevin and Brijal at the front desk go above and beyond with their customer service), and if you’re on the third floor there are wonderful views of the mountains. I keep coming back for all of those reasons and more. Lisa always seems to be the housekeeper on my floor and she has such a gentle and sweet personality. Grade A staff and pet friendly too. Thanks Motel 6 in Newport! 

Perfect Getaway in the Smokies

I was recently blessed enough to find this gem on my round trip journey to VA and stayed on my way there and back. I give it 5 stars for the cleanliness, the price, the location, (Newport TN is tucked away in the Smoky Mountains and is breathtakingly beautiful especially this time of year), it's dog friendly with zero fees, nice walking area, well lit parking lot, I felt very safe, and it's close to good restaurants and fast food 24/7.
I Loved this place!! 

Best Motel 6 yet!!

Comode qas not drainning after flush and overflowed, no housekeeping available, no othr roo. Available had to change room we got one to get fresh
