Staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. Although along highway, our room was quiet and clean with good beds. Offered to bring us to the Amtrak station which we declined as the station is only a 10 minute walk (and the weather was nice)

Great access even better management.   Staying again next week to finish our job in town.    Quiet and comfy.

The Eagle Crater lake Inn is in the very remote town of Chemult, Oregon. The motel is older and could definitely use some updating. However, I had a nice stay as the room was clean, warm, and had many nice amenities such as new, fluffy towels, phone outlets by on the nightstands, and ample sample sizes of shampoo, lotion, soaps and even shower caps. The  updated heating and air conditioning system was easy to regulate. The fella at the front desk was great and helpful and made sure the snow was cleared off the parking area and my walking area was clear. I would definitely stay again.

Location is perfect for a visit to Crater Lake through the north entrance.  Very easy to find in Chemult. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. You can tell they have been recently updated. The inn keeper was so friendly and accommodating.  I had a lovely stay.

Hotel is owned by family and maintained in very good condition. Attention to details in the hotel was awesome. Definitely recommend to going to this hotel.

Overall great, nice hosts. Our neighbor was a bit noisy and kept us up for a while though

Eagle Crater Lake Inn was a little gem on our road trip this year. The accommodations are basic, but clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was great, and the innkeeper Christopher was wonderful! We loved our short stay and would definitely return.

We stayed here on a road trip and it was the most comfortable bed of the whole week! Staff was really nice and the room was clean and peaceful. Would stay here again!

chamult is very small area/street with limited restaurant and has 2 gas stations with a small convinience store. we went in off season. so have to drive long 10 mile via south entrance to get to crater lake while summers with nort entrance will make it easy and full booked hotel. we went in april and mostly empty and its just by highway. The owner and front desk person is friendly and helpful. Room is spacious with good heater and internet but no phone to call front desk for any issues.

Nice clean little Inn.

Chris, the manager was so friendly and helpful.  He texted usin the morning to confirm the room and get an ETA.  He welcomed us to the property, offered us free beverages in the social area, offered dining options and just made the visit feel personal.   The rooms are aging and quite small, but remarkably clean with very little noise from the outside.

We enjoyed our stay at Eagle Crater Lake Inn. Customer Service was A  ! Our AC A-Frame had all the basics necessary for a family vacation…. cable, pots, toiletries… and plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run and play. The town, Chemult is about 30 minutes from Crater Lake and Diamond Lake. The town Chemult lacks dining varieties selections.

My Family was traveling from Garibaldi to Crater lake and needed a place to spend the night after hiking around the park all day. Found this property online and thought we’d give it a shot.  We booked 2 rooms for 4 adults and 2 teenagers but ended up being my 2 little ones with us as well (4 and 6).  Chris, the owner was very nice and had space available in one of their cabins. He upgraded My wife and I and all 4 kids to the cabin so we would have more space. It worked out great. Quite place to rest up and awesome to have the kitchen the next morning to drink our coffee and eat breakfast before heading back home.  We also ate a a great Mexican food place right across the street.

Great experience.  Christopher and his wife have done a great job renovating this property that they purchased 18 months ago.   

Chemult is a very small city, the closest to visiting Crater Lake recreational area.  All hotels and businesses are located between train tracks in the back and highway in the front.  Eagle Crater Lake Inn is set back from the main highway, so the hotel is very quiet.   

The lamps on the tables on each side of the bed are on a 'rheostat' which I have never experienced in a hotel before.   This made it very nice to be able to adjust the light brightness.

We stayed at 7 different hotels on our 2 week trip, and the Eagle Crater Lake Inn was by far, the most comfortable bed and pillows.   Great Columbian coffee was available with a breakfast of selection of bagels, toast, english muffins and hot oatmeal in the main office.

To some, this hotel may seem a little high in price, but when you consider the number  of days during the year the surrounding recreational areas are open, and Chemult is the closest to these areas, the price is very reasonable.  I highly recommend this hotel.

A great night sleep along a major highway  - super comfortable bed and pillows!

We spent the weekend at Eagle Crater Lake Inn. The owners were so polite & Nice. The place was clean, well maintained. We loved the fire place... This was a great place to take our family. The A frame can with all amenities- great kitchen, dining room and living room. We played many card games as a family. Quite area. Fun seeing bunnies & deer. Just a wonderful place to visit and stay. We will be back

Family friendly place to stay

The property is convenient to Crater Lake.  The manager Christopher is super friendly, congenial, helpful, and interesting.  But the Internet connection, over 2 days was very bad--occasionally you could download a Web page if you waited two minutes.  A restaurant down the street provided good Internet, so it is possible--the inn needs to upgrade that.

Very friendly and accommodating manager, clean room and linens, comfortable bed, and close to crater lake! The manager Christopher was a delight- warm greeting despite our near midnight check-in, and chipper helpful in AM, despite our 0700 check-out. The power went out in entire town during night— knowing we planned to roll early to crater lake trails and wouldn’t be able to get hot caffeine/carbs on way, Christopher had bagged breakfast of yogurt, fruit, bagels, jellies and iced tea ready for our departure, completely made our day!! The room was a bit small and dated, but all we needed was a good night sleep, so it served us well!
