America's Best Inn Urbana Champaign

We stayed two nights in this hotel. The staff was really friendly and the person at check-in explained everything very well. The beds were very combortable and the matresses felt like good quality. Although this hotel does not offer breakfast, it offers free coffee and a muffin in the morning. The rooms were very big and overall the price-quality-ratio is great. However, some points that could be improved are: - the floors (although the rooms are cleaned daily, the carpeting really bothered us) - no central lightening in the rooms, there were two bedside table lamps, but they were not sufficient for the entire room - we could not turn off the light on our balcony - although it is prohibited to smoke in this hotel, we could smell in the hallway that people were smoking in their rooms. Overall, you get a decent room for the price you pay, and if you are on a budget, I would defenitely recommend coming to this hotel, but some improvements could be made to enhance the quality of the rooms.
