Amber Inn Bed and Breakfast

We stayed at Amber Inn while visiting Zion National Park. The hostess gave us interesting recommendations for other spots to visit. It was a quiet and relaxing place to stay with delicious home cooked breakfast every morning. Our room and bathroom were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day.

There is simply no way that I can express more to Nida...how very much I enjoyed the stay, the conversation...and those cats! I was fortunate to have traveled overseas with my parents as a young child and my experience at The Amber Inn brought so many fond memories!...ThAnk you Nida...for the suggestions..making my tea and sharing your time and stories...there is just no other place I'd stay..and my partner and I both agree that our experience in Utah and at Zion was amplified because of our stay with you!!!

Okay, so there are quite of few people on here talking about how odd and awkward the owners are and how uncomfortable their experience was.  Let me address this. We spent a lot of time with Nida, the female owner of the B & B.  Nida and her husband are from Lithuania and they are different.  We chose to embrace this difference and fell in love with them both.  We stayed up late talking with Nida about our lives and hers.  We truly got to know her.  She is eccentric and quirky and we loved it!  She has a very big heart and we ended up exchanging e-mails to keep in touch.  When we took Nida's suggestions about hikes and dining, we were NOT disappointed!  She had great suggestions!  If you are looking for a hotel/resort experience, you may not love the Amber Inn.  But if you are looking for a true and authentic experience that you will not forget, give the inn and it's owners a chance and an open mind!

We had a great time at the Amber B&B in Rockville. The Inn is close to Zion Park, yet out of the hustle and bustle of Springdale (it take 5 to 10 minutes to get to the park entrance gate). The breakfasts were tailored to your requests and were very good. The owner, Lida, is great with instructions on where to go and what to see and do in the park. We really liked the other guests and enjoyed conversation over breakfast. Parking is easy and free. Lida tells you the inside information on how to find parking in the park also, which is important as there are a lot of visitors to the park.

The location was perfect for a trip to Zion - close to the park and Springdale's eateries and shops, but quieter, more relaxing. Breakfasts by Andre were delicious and Nida's gardens are just beautiful and her stories and helpful tips about the area were very interesting and entertaining! Recommended :)
