Loved our stay. Great location and amenities. Close to "downtown ". Great views from the deck, parking on site. Well equipped units. Ours had 1.5 baths, tastefully appointed, comfortable king bed.
Elevator!!

We visited Cedar Key for the first time, and were so happy that we did.  The condo we rented through Pelican Realty at Nature’s Landing was beautiful.  There were 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.  The kitchen is just beautiful.  Lots of cupboards and a large island, well stocked with appliances, cookware, etc.  The back deck is very large, with rocking chairs and a dining table and chairs.  The deck overlooks a nature preserve and mangrove area, there is a walking trail outside the building that you can explore.  There are several restaurants within walking distance.  We rented a golf cart and explored the rest of the islands.  What a great place to visit.  We will return!

We love cedar key. Welcome to relax bird watch enjoy seafood. We’ve been here before, but not since covid started until now. 
We reserved one of the few rentals available for our timeframe.  It is rm 302b pelican perch. We’ve stayed here before and were concerned because the pics looked the same. However I believe the furniture has been upgraded. Cushions seem new and comfortable.  The kitchen floor could use replacing as there are dark marks on it that I believe are from wear.  The other negative so far is a party in one of the units that is disturbing our quiet seclusion on the deck. We really like the view from the top floor of the unit. We always say “there are no bad bird days in cedar key”. The view of the birds from the deck never disappoints. The unit is clean and worth the price. A slight schedule change was accommodated  by the booking agent for the condo. 

Cedar key as their reputation as an artist colony suggests does its own thing. Restaurants try to social distance but mask wearing has not been enforced in businesses we have patronized.

This is absolutely our favorite place to stay in Cedar Key. This time we were in Unit A301. The marsh behind this unit was so active with Birds, Mullet Jumping & Redfish you could sit on the balcony all day. We love the location and the shaded balconies and the rental staff is very good. Cons - The bed in the 2nd Bedroom is incredibly noisy and needs replacement. Also the unit could be cleaned better. Don't open or use the pull-out sofa in the living room. There is food in it and under it has not been cleaned in years. Old sock, dirt, food, pens....etc. Cleaning has always been so, so or they would have a top review.

Great find!

You’re probably wondering why I gave this place three stars after reading the title of this post. Well, we love Cedar Key. I grew up visiting with my family. And we’ll go back, even to Nature’s Landing. But this post is a warning if you’re considering staying in UNIT C204!!!!! The full-time residents who live below are a NIGHTMARE. Within moments of the start of our stay, the complaints began. Over the course of the next 5 days we had daily phone calls from the property manager, banging on the floor from below, and even the arrival of two very kind Cedar Key Police officers: all allegedly because of noise. Our group consisted of my husband and I, his mother, and our two boys, 17 months and 5. I fully understand having noisy neighbors above. We’ve all been through that in a hotel or condo. But this was ridiculous. The one day they called to complain, we had been gone all day on a boat. The unit was empty. Another time, we were at the pool and the baby was with my mother in law napping. The property manager Tina was exceptionally helpful and understanding, but she was put in a tough place by a pair of selfish tenants. Like I said earlier, we love this little town. We supported many of these local businesses during a pandemic. We spent five days eating and drinking and shopping and boating and spending a lot of money. But if the owner of UNIT C204 wants to continue to have people rent his unit, something must be done about the completely inappropriate requests by the neighbors below. Nature’s Landing is a lovely place to stay. Clean, updated, nice pool, lovely view. But we will think twice about staying anywhere in BUILDING C as to not encounter the fools who live in C104. I wish they had the decency to come talk to us in person instead of calling the law. Thank you for ruining the only family vacation we had this year.

BEWARE: They called the police on my toddler

Stayed here for three nights. Place is clean, except some utensils needs to be rewash. Nice walk to nearby restaurants. Place dish network and Wi-Fi ( only bad reception in the bedroom). Also missing shampoo and conditioner- most of Airbnb we stayed have those. This place also have washer and dryer which is great. Overall , great place to stay.

Walking distance to restaurants

Four of us rented a two bedroom, 2 bath.  We were in end Unit 301A.  The best part was the location on the top floor overlooking the back bayou.  Seeing the tide out and coming back in was really neat.  Not many birds, so as photographers that was a disappointment.  The outside deck was nice with nice furniture.  The condos are adequate with good use of space.  The kitchen was definitely large enough for us to prepare our Thanksgiving feast and nice breakfasts. Provided was dish detergent and dishwasher pods.  The plus was also an elevator.  This helps immensley for those with ambulatory issues as well as getting your provisions and luggage to your condo. Parking is tight for large SUV's but under the condo so that is a plus.

Now the issues with this unit.  From photos all looks pretty good.  However, upon inspection not so much.  The furniture is well worn.  Leather sofa was torn and extremely dirty and sinks almost to the floor when you sit.  Furnishings need to be updated.  Master bedroom is large with plenty of storage in closets. Matress seemed cheap but we slept well.  Bathroom mirrors and overhead lights were filftthy. There is no glass cleaner or other cleaning supplies.  Second bedroom matress is extremely squeeky and needs replacement.  No dresser for clothes in that room.  Bathroom same suspect cleaning with smeary glass and filthy bulbs and dirty baseboards in both bathrooms. Water in the second bathroom shower just pours out in a large stream, as the shower head doesn't work right and  needs to be replaced.    No bulb in one of the dining area lamps. So we had to take one out of the fan in the living room.  The floors always felt like there was grit on the floor, although we swept it- also the room bounces when you just walk over the floors and the walls seemed pretty thin.  Not sure what the unit under us was hearing.  Large Kitchen appliances seems to work well, and freezer made lots of ice.  We never experienced any weird smells with the water- but we had our own bottled water and used it for cooking as well.  Pots are pans were well worn and tefflon ones wer mostly dangerous with rust and cuts all over. Only had three garbage bags to use, and the garbage can in kitchen smelled horrible and was broken. We had brought some of our own trash bags, thankfully.  Many dishes seemed dirty and we found dirty coffee cups. Most of the cooking utensils were pretty old and disgusting and needed to be replaced.  We used the dishwasher everyday for the 3 nights we were there.  We were thankful  we had brought our own coffee maker with us.  We decided to try theirs on the 2nd day and it did not work at all.  The cleaning in this unit leaves a lot to be desired.  Perhaps we have a higher standard, but this unit was not up to par for sure.  We left this unit cleaner than what we found it to be when we arrived.

Location excellent, but can't say that about the Condo

I have stayed at this condo 5 times in the last 4 years. This year we found the three units we rented to generally wore out.  The furniture cushions were all needing replaced. None of the coffee makers worked properly.  Two of the mattresses were so wore out and damaged and one leaned so much to the right we were not able to use it.  The management has moved off site so we were unable to have any of our issues resolved during our 1 week stay.  The internet only worked occasionally as well. I’m sure if I picked this place apart I could write a huge list but not necessary. Just don’t plan on having a good night sleep or an office to go to in order to correct the most simple items. This place has gone so far down hill and I saw no effort being made to correct any issues that was very disappointed. We will no longer stay here and will no longer recommend it. Cedar Key is a wonderful place with many great places to stay just not here.

Not luxury

We spent three nights at the Nature’s Landing Condo during the Cedar Key Seafood Festival. The condo we rented was a very nice size, the kitchen was very well stocked for all our cooking needs, and the water pressure in the showers was pleasantly strong. It’s always appreciated when a rental says they sleep 5-6 and they have seating in the living room and dining room for that number. Though it was a busy weekend, it was enjoyably quiet at the condo. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. 
However, I do feel the need to share some of their lesser qualities; some that can be easily remedied and some, well, not so much. The first and worst was the horrendous smell of rotten eggs when the water facet was turned on. By the third day, either we had gotten used to it or the smell had dissipated. We made a quick trip to the store for bottled water! 
On the list of things that can easily be fixed/upgraded; 1) cheap one ply toilet paper never gives the impression of luxury, 2) kitchen faucet leaked and management wasn’t interested, 3) the VCR smoked at first but when it warmed up and quit smoking we realized the remote had dead batteries, 4) the mattress for the pull-out sofa was unusually flimsy, 5) the cleaning could have had a little more attention paid to it – the two extra chairs for the dining room table had sticky arm rests, the patio furniture was filthy (the office was called and the furniture was cleaned), and the large living room windows looking out to the water were very dirty. People rent waterfront condos to enjoy the view (through clean windows).
On the list of more difficult fixes; 1) the waterfront view was of the marsh, not the Gulf, and there was no view of either the sunrise or sunset (big negative for me), 2) the hall bathroom had a microscopic shower, and 3) the parking under the condos was VERY narrow and tight, though there was parking available out front in the sun.
Not my first or even second choice of condos on the island. I’ll make sure that I never procrastinate on booking my rental each year, so that we can get the condo we really enjoy, where management shows that they care, rooms are always spotless, and the sunsets each night are magnificent.
