Staff very personable, room was very clean, bedding was comfortable.

Older hotel that has been well taken care of.  Staff very nice.  Cute little town.

Carrizozo Inn looks unassuming, but inside you'll find a clean, comfortable room, with the best shower for a hundred miles. Stay here with confidence.

The rooms were clean, the a/c worked great and my kids loved that there is a park not far from the hotel.

Great checkin experience. Walking distance to Mexican food and burgers. Easy access to convenience store. Staff is great and cares about providing you with great service.

2nd time at this older, (1960ish?) Mom and Pop motel. We drove out of our way so we could stay here again. We just love this little motel. Lots of remodeling and upgrades.  Always so clean and neat, smells so good when you open the door. Beds are nice and comfortable with lots of pillows, Plenty of clean towels and lots of nice hot water. Please, do yourself a favor if your passing through this little town and stay in this motel, you will not regret it!

Loved our stay at Carrizozo Inn.  When checking in, we told him of our plans for Trinity Site.  He gave us fabulous advice, showing up 2 hours early.  We were within the first mile of the gate, and beat the biggest crowds pulling in as we were leaving.  Thanks so much!  Room was clean and comfy!

Very happy with the cleanliness and comfort of this motel. motel.com. Fails to tell you that these places that take pets up charge you for the pet overnight stay. This is the second time it has happened to me and I did check that I had a pad. I am not real happy with hotel.com anymore because this is happened to me twice and it is never mentioned when I register.

Overall, I was very pleased with this small hotel.

Clean, comfortable, large room. We had a king bed that was perfect.  Large mini fridge with separate freezer (great for refreezing cold packs). Cofee maker & microwave. It is not fancy but i would stay again. Restaurant across the street was good & open to 7pm. Gad station next door. It is at an intersection so there is a fair amount of traffic but it wasnt horrible in the middle of the night. You might want earplugs. Only suggestion is for better black out curtains. It got bright early for us being on vacation.

Clean and comfortable

Not much in the area so don't expect much. This motel is being renovated. The bathroom and shower was recently completed and very nice. The room was clean, but not very big. They have not put in an ice machine yet, but the owner was nice enough to fill my ice bucket from his personal freezer. Little by little as they complete the remodeling it should be very nice.

Small Room But Accommodating Staff

This is an older motel in a small town, really feels like New Mexico True. The owner has remodeled bathrooms with beautiful tile walls and floor.  The in-room refrigerator is larger than we expected. There is a folding table with two bar stools that can easily be moved, even out to the sidewalk in front.  We had an easy chair that was actually relaxing to sit in.  The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The WiFi works very well.  We felt it was a very good value.

Comfortable, convenient

For reasons that escape me, I find myself frequently in small towns.  Carrizozo certaintly fits that bill.  It's routinely difficult to find decent lodgings ("Dunno why you're here, slick, but suck it up"), so a nice place merits a positive review.  The Carrizozo Inn is indeed a little gem, with large, clean rooms, good bed, and a superb 0wner/manager.  I stayed here three nights on a business trip and will do so again if I should find myself in this neck of the woods.  Rooms are non-smoking (a good thing) and there is a pet fee of $10.  So if you find yourself in the neighborhood, stay here.  You'll thank me.  That'll be $20 toward my retirement fund. :)

Small town gem

We had stayed twice across the street and thought we would try something different, they had just remodeled some rooms, it's was big, clean , beds were comfortable, Staff is super nice, when I called they were super helpful and when we checked in they were the same way! We come through every summer and will definitely stay here again! As they say, you can judge a book by its cover.... 😎

Great

We were nearly out of gas while travelling through New Mexico, beginning to get worried as each small town we passed the gas stations were closed. Just before we ran out completely we came upon the small town of Corrizozo, New Mexico. We fueled up and decided to crash there for the night as it was quite late. We gave the Corrizozo Inn a try. For a very small and very old looking motel in the middle of nowhere, I was very pleased to find that they offered us a nice and clean little room. The bathroom had been recently remodeled and the beds were quite comfy. I would def recommend this place to others.

Not bad at all

For the price the motel was better than expected. When we find a cheaper motel to crash at we usually don't expect very much. We were very happy to find this place to sleep there were less accommodations on this stretch of new mexico than I realized, and I have driven it before so I should have known. We were so happy when we stumbled on this little town at 11pm when we were almost out of gas. Pillows and beds were comfy, the towels were really nice. They are updating some stuff and doing a good job of it. The room was clean, and the gentleman who checked us in was nice. Mini fridge allowed me to refreeze our cooler ice packs. 2 adults and 4 kids and it was perfectly fine.
