Royal Mansions Resort

My wife and I along with our 11-year old twin girls recently visited the 'Space Coast', and chose The Royal Mansions in Cape Canaveral (unit 3307) to experience the best of what the area had to offer. That said, here is the impression we walked away with. ARRIVAL/LOCATION: If there ever was a gold standard for this property, unit 3307 would be it. Our renter was absolutely incredible from pre-planning to check-out, super responsive, amazingly helpful, and all around a genuinely good person. The overall process was very smooth, allowing us to settle in and unpack in no time with the added benefit of keyless entry. The unit is located in a stunningly beautiful location, on the beach with your feet touching the sand in less than a few steps. The view is picture perfect, with a lovely vista of the beach while kicking back in your patio chair. Sitting outside on the balcony looking out at a cruise ship illuminating the water at night with a glass of wine was nothing short of a magical. The unit was also ideal for getting our stay organized before heading out to take in all the local attractions, with groceries, restaurants & surf shops all less than 10 minutes from your doorstep. Cape Canaveral is notably quieter than neighbouring Cocoa Beach to the south, and saw it as a lovely ‘escape' from the more popular beach town. That said, if you seek the action, restaurants, and overall vibe Cocoa Beach has to offer, a short 10 minute drive will have you right in the centre of it all. UNIT: We instantly recognized what previous guests had stated in the comments, an immaculately clean place with a relaxing vibe permeating throughout. The layout was ideal for us, with our girls having their own private 'hideaway' upstairs in their bunk beds, while my wife and I were able to have the main floor to ourselves, kick back and watch a movie without the worry of waking them. The tastefully decorated condo is both serene and relaxing, with a mix of European flair and beach accents throughout. Our girls loved the pool downstairs for guests as well, and none of us wanted to leave when our last day arrived. You can truly tell the owners put her hearts, souls & personal touches into this place. PROPERTY GROUNDS: Well maintained, and it looked like they were also resurfacing the entry stairs to each building while we were there. The pool area was bustling during most of our stay, but spent most of our time at the beach. Regarding the beach, the space in front of Royal Mansions is picture perfect, with lots of space to set up our chairs and umbrella on a wide beach. we were even blessed to take in not one, but TWO rocket launches during our 10-day stay... right off the beach. BOTTOM LINE: We have stayed at a number of vacation rentals prior to this unit, and we can say unequivocally, this ranks as one of our best. If you are seeking a place in Cape Canaveral to truly relax and get submersed in a classic Floridian escape, this place will not disappoint. From the beautiful view, atmospheric surroundings, and very well maintained condo, my wife and I would return here in a heartbeat (and we will). Get down to the Space Coast, embrace all that it has to offer, take in it's beauty, have a glass of wine at twilight on the balcony looking out to sea, and above all else, stay HERE to do it all.
