Such a quaot inn and easily the best property!

Overall pleasant stay. The AC was quite noisy and we had to turn it off for the night.

The staff was friendly and communicative.

It’s such a joy to stay here. Charming and peaceful are my first thoughts. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Located downtown right close to the guildhall, in a private shady, fresh and grassy park very well maintained. Restaurants & bars right there.Quiet.Rooms are older but clean.Bedding confortable.Accommodating late check ins.Missed doing our bedroom after the first night but it was a mistake.Will return, thank you!

Beautiful little motel. I have always loved the look of it and finally decided to stay. Did not disappoint. I was in the adjacent historic house which was sweet and quiet. Excellent water pressure.

My wife selected the honeymoon suite in The Cain House portion of the Silver Maple Inn property right on Main St. in Bridgeport for our stay. This was a second-floor room with a queen-sized bed and ensuite bathroom. The stairway going up to this room was quite narrow, consisting of 2 small flights, and rather steep, in keeping with its age. Apparently, this home had been moved here at some point from its original location in the near and now ghost town CA State Park of Bodie. It was a moderate-sized room, also in keeping with the period of its build. The catch upon our arrival was that the room had perhaps only been superficially cleaned: we found a sock under the dresser (easily visible), a moisturizing tube laying on the floor heater vent, a wrapper of some kind on the rug, a cracked glass in the bathroom and another that had obviously not been cleaned well. Someone on the cleaning staff was obviously not paying attention. We raised these issues the next morning with management and was quickly offered a credit on our stay as no other room was available. We were also told that she would personally supervise the cleaning of our room. We found it most agreeable in that regard. The soundproofing in the room was not much as, again, in keeping with the time of its original building, rooms tended to be built close together and soundproofing was not really much of a consideration. Remember, this was originally a private family home now serving a very different purpose. The bed frame was also a bit creaky. The room had a small TV mounted on the wall carrying DirecTV, a small fridge and a Keurig coffee brewer. There was a microwave on the first floor near the entrance which seemed a bit odd. The main floor sitting room had a beautiful fireplace which we can only imagine would be lovely when/if actually in use. While we considered this to be a fairly pricey accommodation given its regular daily rate, the credit we were given made it acceptable. Still, if we come this way again, we might very well give this spot another try because of the management, or try one of the other rooms in its regular motel accommodations. A qualified recommendation given our overall experience.

The Cain House at the Silver Maple Inn...Interesting

Love the history of the property. We stayed in the Cain House, which is part of the Silver Maple Inn. Each room is themed and very charming.We noticed that our room had not been “cleaned” properly. We took pictures and brought them to the attention of the person at the front desk. We were staying for three nights and they refunded us two nights!! Roxanne was more than generous and made sure our stay there was a pleasant one. I highly recommend the Silver Maple Inn!!

Dated but beautiful! The staff is amazing! We booked a room in the Cain House instead of the main motel. Its like a super old ranch house that was converted. It is incredible! Comfortable and clean rooms. Walkable to good food. Great park like area to sit back and have a drink in. Will definitely stay here again next time we go to Yosemite!

This was a great roadside in. In fact, stellar. Beautiful green lawn. I knew there was a grill so I cleaned out my freezer since I was moving and brought some grillables for my journey (bring your own utensils). Perfect spot for my dog - we loved walking around the neighborhood it was so pretty at sunset! The owner (or manager) I spoke to at check in said that as long as pet owners keep their pets in check they won't have to charge a pet fee so hey! be a nice pet owner and make sure your pup doesn't destroy stuff (or crate them!) to keep it a great option for all :)

Check in was super easy and staff was very friendly and helpful.  The rooms are good size, the beds were pretty comfy, and the A/C worked great.  Having a small fridge was very nice as well.  Although the property is older, it is very well kept and the grounds are beautiful to sit out in the evening and enjoy the sunset.  We would definitely return to the Silver Maple Inn.

Pros: clean rooms- nice wood looking floors - was greeted warmly at the office - has fridge and coffee maker in room. 
Cons: Had problems with the TV office staff had to come and get it working - the rooms really NEED a rug at the entry door because floor got real Sandy from just  walking in and it’s terrible to put you bare feet on. They really NEED A RUG to rub your shoes on.

What a find! As a couple traveling with a dog, this was a great place to stay. Very friendly service, easy parking right outside of the rooms, and a beautifully kept inner courtyard to walk and play with the dog. Our dog's favorite place by far! Great ammenities for a small place including TV with DirecTV and loads of channel options, outdoor gas grills, and all the in-room essentials you would get at a hotel. Bonus: walk to the bakery down the street for a great breakfast!

Unique, homey feeling. The Cain House appears to be a family home converted to a B&B without the second B (no breakfast). The room we chose was the Candelaria which was comfortable and clean. However, the room is on the highway side of the house so it was a bit noisy. While they did not offer breakfast, they did provide plenty of coffee/tea and a microwave in the common kitchen for use by guests. While this property is a little older, we were comfortable, cool (the air conditioner worked well) and well stocked. Btw, one of the unique features of the Candelaria room was the entry through the bathroom. Must admit I have never stayed in a place where you enter that way. A bit bizarre. But memorable.

At the last minute we decided to go to Yosemite national forest so we were fortunate to get reservations at this location. All of the staff are extremely courteous and professional and attentive to our needs .  Breakfast was a very good start to the day and it was adequate to keep us fortified until lunch. We also had dinner in the restaurant and thought the food was good and the staff were extremely pleasant. We would stay here again.
